    Alex, I'm in exactly the same boat as you, I currently have the Vox AD15 XL with 2 speakers and it's up for sale here, way to loud for home use. I'm on the verge of buying the Blackstar HTR-1 'cos from what I've read and heard on youtub it's what I need. (same as you home practice and distortion without blowing the walls down) I'm playing an Epiphone Sheraton, Korean from 2004. HTH

    I have just bought Chris's Glibson J200 geetar from him and I was so worried about spending a great deal of money I didn't bother checking his feedback... No need as he is one of the best known traders on here, a true gentleman and man of his word. The J200 arrived in bombproof packaging early this morning and is entirely as described, perfect for me. I'm sure we'll trade again. thanks Chris.

    Always been a fender man but have tried 3 Gibson SG basses and quickly sold them on, just didn't feel right for me but those pickups.... wow. Thunderbirds look as though they have a growth on the bottom, not a good look for me. Bit Marmite really.
