1. Another excellent feedback from me too, bought a VOX guitar amp from Jon. Very well packed and sent quickly. Super deal, fast friendly and efficient, very happy thanks.
2. Bought a body from this kind gentleman, well packed, arrived quickly with friendly posts throughout. I am very gentle with his body thanks for a good deal.
3. Just sold my G&L bass to paul, absolute gent as always, faster than fast payment, quick delivery, ( oh hang on that was me wasn't it ) Seriously good dude to trade with and a credit to Basschat! Thanks buddy.
4. Weight please?
5. Oh no! I was taliking to Stephen Chown the other day and suggested he'd have a ready market for J & P basses that were sub 8lbs, I'd buy one of each like a shot. Gaping hole in the market imo, I'm not alone needing lightness. I have a Chowny mk1 and it's a great bass, nice n light but the strap peg is on the back which I find uncomfortable as well as the bass falling forward.
6. Thanks, all fenders seem to be too heavy for a bad back.

8. The folks that came in my shop at whitby swore by Kinman pickups for their Hank Marvin impressions. Holy Grail.
9.
Sorry I cant explain but I agree with you
I have absolutely nothing to add to what Paul says except 'I agree' wow that was pointless
10. Cheers Paul, one day your ship will come in, but with your luck you'll be at the airport
11. Hi, seeing as none of my basses are selling just now I'll try this one. It's a G&L Tribute that's in excellent condition, just a couple of small marks on the back of the neck at the dusty end, nothing that you would notice really. Plays really well. I was hoping to find a maple board for it but nothing came up so here it is. weighs 10.3 lbs The price includes postage and a Fender gigbag. 12.
There's you go, that's what I liked about it. Not enough to actually buy one, however.
hahaha that's what makes the world go round
13. Cheers Al, I think there's a lot of us in the same boat
14. Thanks very much for that.
15. Bump, clearly wasting my time trying to sell stuff at any price, can't even sell my car!
16. and delivered for that too.
17. Guess we know why it has no strings then.
18. Fretwork isn't terrible, also has Wilkinson pickups. I think it's great, just too heavy for me. But there again most things are too heavy for me these days. I have some great basses but I'm having to sell them all.
