  1. I have the aforementioned TRB1004 and it is everything you would expect from a quality well made instrument. Back in the day I was a Yamaha dealer and have to say even the 70 quid acoustic guitars were superb for the money. I suppose they can be a bit soul less but the TRB is full of character after some stuff that I've played lately but I've hung my coat on the G&L stand and I'm unlikely to remove it in the foreseeable future. Stonkin bass though
  2. Well, another deal done with Geoff, I echo everyone's praise for the excellent communication, friendly emails and very quick payments. Thanks again sir, hope to deal again soon! Take care, Tom.

  4. That's what I call music! Terrific! Etc'
  5. Each to their own but as an almost OAP I come from a different generation. My parents were into Sinatra, Andy Williams etc' and I used to think WTF? Now I never criticise anyone's taste, it's such a personal thing.
  6. Nothing to compare it to for the asking price, the only ones I can find are much cheaper? Perhaps more info and a pic would be helpful? I'm at that point where I sometimes have to sit due to back problems and a plastic chair just don't cut it.
  7. I'd go back to the shop and say you made a mistake and you want the jazz version, doubt you'd lose much more than you would here.
  8. Must.... re...sist..... I have a natural trib and it's my best G&L, buy it as you won't be sorry.
  9. So you're selling a bass that we can't see? you don't even state what colour it is or how old it is? Then we have to travel to Grimsby to see it?Not making much effort here are you? yes I'm looking for one.
  10. At its retail price you can pick up a good MIJ, I know I had one. Great review as always GW
  11. No pic of a psu, no mention of one, you should have asked before the auction end.
  12. Bassdoc has a template Gaf....
  13. Probably Korean... Suzi is a USA model. She would be good to play I guess?
  14. It has, bass now on hold.
  15. No it's just the same, I don't want to play it, just look at it It's amazing in real life, it just glows
  16. It goes through my Marshall 1x15 cab @300w. This amp is so powerful through that, it shakes the windows. Don't think 'oh it's only 30w' because in the real world valve amps are far more powerful than solid state. I can't tell any difference with my Hartke HA3500 combo.

  18. Well I've just bought an amp from Mr Greek. We chatted on the phone and what a nice guy! Very upfront and straightforward.
