1. I know she is but.... you just would wouldn't you? Watched a BBC4 top of the pops with her on, the precision was bigger than her!
2. Hmm, I've met and dealt with some exceptionally good people on Basschat with just one or two exceptions. I can live with the numpty's because the rest is just sooo good.! I have 2 basses for sale at the moment and sadly I've had an offer on each, one was £65 less than the asking price and the other £55 below. To my mind that is a bit insulting and they were turned down flat. By all means make an offer but make it sensible!
3.
You realy should stop taking pics of your sales on crumpled cotton sheets. Im having un-necessary thoughts Type bump
4. Yes I think it is, it's very fast and comfortable. Having flats on too makes it very smooth to play.
5.
So now that Guitar Emporium has shut up shop - where do we get CIJ basses from? Always fancied one of their reissue Precisions. Danny
I have a mint 2 tone sunburst for sale?

10.
I once sat through a seminar on rehearsal techniques (and jolly good it was too). The two guys running it said that most musicians don't stop as soon as a mistake occurs, and so end up 'practicing getting it wrong' more than they practice getting it right. The idea of practicing until you don't get it wrong is a really good one. Think about band practice - how many times do you play a new tune before you get it right? 5, 6, 7? then you get it right. Hooray, once more for luck, then move on. You got it wrong more times than you've got it right - so mathematically you're better at playing it wrong than playing it right. I think that was the upshot of the seminar (I've missed a fair bit though), but it's stuck with me for ten years plus. Cheers, Paul
I actually blushed when I read this It's a church band and that's what we do so on Sunday our keyboard player can't even find his music! Needless to say it's never all right.

SOLD.

Here is my Squier Affinity P bass, bought for a project and then along came Sue Nothing wrong with it, couple of very small marks on the front and that's it! How about 65 quid delivered? cheers.
12. I'm having to sell a few of my basses and this was last in so first out, absolutely first class condition with a low action and no faults. This is the more expensive 3 colour sunbust model that sells for £700 now so this is a bargain at £430 delivered. Will come in a hard case too although not G&L. I'm not interested in offers thanks. Thanks for looking.
13. Hi, I bought this recently from TRBboy and it's a super bass in every respect (previous advert here) http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...=Yamaha+trb1004 It's a 2006 model on Flats and it plays really really well. Selling because I need the money so looking for £350 delivered. I'm not interested in offers thanks. Oh and there is a hard case with it too.. Thanks for looking.
14. You bought a G&L tribute Martin?
15. Is this a defretted VMJ?
16.
I think the difference is that in Europe they get a pretty good rate to other european countries including the UK whereas we get scr**ed as it's seen as somewhere strange... Also they get better weight bands as well.. For instance the Post office have to deliver 30 KG packages from Europe, whereas they appear to have a 15KG limit for UK packages... Why not get the folks in europe to arrange the courier to pick up from you?
I have if you read my post again, it just goes quiet at their end when I suggest that. Julian, I don't know where you got that £25 quote from? or was it tongue in cheek? Northern Ireland isn't cheap either.
17. Martin, I've just bought a minter in that colour
18. ^^^^What he said^^^^
19. This is to do with shipping costs to Europe from the UK. a lot of the time I get asked for a shipping quote to France or Spain or Poland or wherever and the buyer often says 'you should be able to ship that for £25 fully insured to here'. So out of politeness I do the rounds of the companies and very often the cheapest I can get is £68 insured for £50! I don't know where they get these daft quotes from and when I ask them to arrange their own shipping my inbox goes very quiet. I have to say that not everyone does this, it's just a few. So come on guys, get real with the shipping
20. How long have you owned it? Will you post it? (The one I have now was posted so it's no problem if you can box it securely)
21. My local Ryder shop has mysteriously closed down... hmmm...
22. Before you all start, I have a Blueburst Fantastic basses, I recommend someone buys it now. Well go on then! Hurry or you'll miss it.
