3. Bumpit, need it sold, great bass but I'm a G&L man now
4. Thank you for the explanation, never heard of anything like that before and I bet it's an amazing experience. I only play in churches so it would be a bit wasted on me. Good luck with the sale tho'
5. I still have 4 Ryders soon to be 3. My navy blue/maple is stunning with just a bass doc pickguard and a setup. Got a wiz area51 pickup for it so that's going in next. I don't really know why I'm doing it when I have G&L's and some good Fenders..... Oh that's right, I'm retired and a bit bored
6.
OK - thanks so much for the input everyone! It's really helped. There doesn't seem to be a clear 'winner' and most agree that both sound comparable. My fav is Bass 1 - for me it sounds more solid and more snappy/instant with the slap stuff. You won't believe this but Bass 1 is a £130 short scale Chinese built Richwood (see below) Bass 2 is my beautiful '97 Warwick Streamer LX (currently for sale) which now sell for £1400 upwards! Now to be fair, the Richwood has been modified with a Badass II, Dimarzio Pickups and an EMG 2- band eq. But still it seems unreal that the sound would be even close in quality to a bass costing 10 x as much! You see I really love this Richwood and use it as my main bass, but something was niggling at me saying 'it can't really sound any good, can it?'. I mainly love the bass for it's short scale as my fingers are short. In conclusion I'd say a lot of folk did warm to the more sophisticated sound of the Warwick, but the Richwood was percieved as a Jazz bass (that's the way I think of it) and a damn good one at that!
I used to sell Richwood Guitars & Basses and the one you are holding was a great bass even in standard form, they came in red with gold fittings too. Great playing
7. I hardly dare to ask.... But what is it? There, I've asked what 2000 people want to ask but didn't dare because they would lose face
8. Just sold APA some stands, very fast payment and great communication. Happy to deal again anytime. Trade with confidence folks. Thanks Andrew.
9. Bump! Would take a G&L Trib + cash difference.

Wow some great stuff here. Mine:
13. It is, makes my 'neck' ache doing it though.
14. It's gone to a new owner Eric.
15. Up again as I was let down by someone in France.
16. replied. I've changed the advert to posted prices
17. I have these left from the shop: advert tidied up Guitar/bass slat wall hangers, I have about 75 of these and they adjust to any angle: £5.50 each posted Slatwall carousell for hanging straps or other items, it rotates around: £9 posted Guitar wall display hangers, fully length adjustable, I have 3 of these: £12 each posted. ***electric & acoustic guitars 1 SOLD, 2 LEFT! cheers, Tom.
18. I think I might part out my 3 spare ones if they get that kind of money.
19. I think if you walked on stage with it, no-one would notice what it was and how much it cost would they? Only you would know apart from the other band members. So make one that's identical and use it, I mean how hard can it be? I can remember when I was younger, I bought a very expensive 12 string guitar and no one showed the slightest interest, I was gutted.
20. Speak to Bassdoc on here, he makes scratchplates, he does all mine and very reasonable too.
