1. Am I right in thinking that if you have no money in your payscam account they can't take money out of your bank account directly? If they can invade your account I'm closing my paypal account today and stuff ebay. This smells like a scam, just follow all the excellent advice here, especially Mr Beedster's psychic powers
2. If they are for sale you have to put a price. Forum rules.
3.
Well thats knocked a couple of noughts off the resale value in the collectors market - bet your guttered!! A
TBH I'm not in the least bothered. I bought them to play about with and I've started on my navy blue one. Here's the white one: I also have a red one with a lacquer crack on the back, not sure about that one.
4. This: Then my G&L L-2000 trib's
5. I have 2 spare ones, sonic blu & white. They have small chips where the neck join is, here: The white one is only a slight chip, much less.
6.

I couldn't hold one of them up never mind play it.
7. Hey Jon how you doin'? Not seen you on here for a while.
8. What basses were on the scene in 1946?
9. It's on my wall and I keep lookig at it. it's a thing of beauty is't it? Still trying to get used to the tones, it's very different to my G&L. Cracking bass though but you know that already
I've regretted selling basses on many occasions. Trouble is, unlike when I was younger and had no responsibilities, I now have to operate a strict 'one in one out' policy. So if there's a bass I really want I have to sell something first to fund it. Worst mistake I made was hastily part-exing my 5-string Warwick thumb, for a used, 4-string, base model, Warwick Corvette. The shop offered me a straight swap and I took it! Idiot......... I'm already regretting selling my TRB1004 to Tom (and he only received it yesterday!).
10. I really fancy this, in the rear pic has it got a split on the neck? hard to tell from one pic. Or is it the wood figuring?
11. I have 2 G&L -L 2000's and lusted after the 'ultimate' USA model. Well I got one and was disappointed as hell. My Trib's are far better imo.
12.
Anybody know of a shop in the North West with a Sue Ryder in stock (not Navy.) I've phoned all of the local stores without any success. If I can track one down they may be able to transfer it to my local shop. I could drive to pick it up if it wasn't too far. Ed.
Hi Ed, I have a new Sonic blue and a white complete with gigbags, strap & tools if you're interested? Could ship to you for about £13. + the cost of the bass £60 Just if you don't get fixed up regards, Tom.
13. In defence of Mr Wazoo I have changed the wiring on a Squier that had plastic covered wire and small pots and while it didn't make the earth shake the progression of the volume and tone was much more evenly spread, not 'on or off' like the original. What does the capacitor do? How necessary is it?
14. Chris just bought my Wireless kit, fast payment, great comms. Absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks mate. Tom.
15.
I can't find the icon for "ner ner ner neeer ner" I wish they'd made the P-bass in red. I don't like red guitars, but then I was supposed to not like P-basses either Now I think a red P-bass with tortoiseshell type pickguard and rosewood fingerboard (and I'm a fan of maple) is a very cool looking thing indeed. what happened to me?
I have a red SR..............
16. Is the black one for sale too?
17. Bought a pickguard from Phil. Great communication, fast delivery and very well packed. Deal with confidence, cheers, Tom.
18. Final bump then you won't see it again.
19. Sorry to see it go Karl, I didn't realise it had a ding on the bottom or a missing screw, sorry mate. Great bass this, Karl is a proper gent so buy with confidence folks.
20. Heres my Fender Squier Protone bass has one small indentation on the top It has an almost unmarked black body with contrasting red tortoishell pick guard It has a nice neck with virtually unplayed frets You will not find a better one! These are very highly rated guitars, do some google on the protone series and see the results, do not confuse with regular squiers as these are on a par with the early Jap ones Fender actually stopped production of these as they were affecting sales of the more expensive models, I can't tell this apart from my Jap Precision, it's that good. Made only for two years. Only weighs 8.5lbs! Looking for £300 for it. free delivery. thanks for looking.
21. I'm intrigued. How low can you get the action without rattling? I've owned a couple of MM's and couldn't get a good, really low action which is important to me.
22. Be nice if you would send my gigbag back Rich I just don't understand what the problem is.
