Manos just bought my G&L USA, wow, what a great guy to deal with, very fast payment, great prompt, polite & friendly emails.
A true gent, deal with confidence, I would happily trade again.
Thanks manos, it was a pleasure!
Tom.
Hi, this ad is for my Samson VR3 wireless guitar kit, it has its own custom case to keep it in.
I don't know squat about these except to plug it in and play without an umbilical cord.
I've only used it 3 or 4 times, each without incident. (This was with my Jazz bass).
Looking for about 50 quid or near offer.
cheers.
Thanks for your kind comments.
I don't know if I can bear to see this on here for long. I may withdraw it and hope for the best so if you're at all interested you better make a move soon.
Hi Eric, I really don't know what the future holds health wise, I have serious knee and back problems which are getting worse by the day.
I know I'm probably doing the wrong thing but I'm raising money to buy another volvo S60/V70 because they are just about the only car I can sit comfortably in, I should never have sold my S60.
So if anyone has one......
I will not be unhappy if I have to keep it, it'll just take a little longer to get a Volvo.
Hiya, I'm immensley sad to be selling this bass. I haven't had it long but I cannot justify hanging on to it because my health is going downhill and I won't ever be able to play it
Known as 'old red' this is a blade model from around 1981 and he is in amazing condition for his age.
There is a bit of buckle rash on the back but it hasn't broken the paint so it still looks great.
It comes with its original hardcase which is also in very good condition.
I'm looking for £475 for it, delivery an extra £15.
I'll leave you to drool at the pictures
Thanks for looking in.
I'm not getting into an argument over these basses. I owned a guitar shop for some years up to my retirement and have seen a lot of crap come and go. Years ago a bass from china was total rubbish, in fact 'nowthenour**d' on ebay is still selling them by the look of it.
In the last 2-3 years the chinese stuff has got much much better and would compete with Korean guitars and basses easily.
If you took a part container load for say £10,000, you could buy a guitar or bass for around $12-$14 each. Naturally they weren't well setup but that was our job and we did it well.
As said I bought 4 of these SR's to keep and have a play with and I have seen much much worse for the money. So please try one before criticising them, passing judgement from a no knowledge position is hardly objective.
imo of course
I like this:
"The electrics were pretty much rubbish and on their way out so I installed a custom 50's style hand made harness using Genuine CTS pots, Genuine Fender Vintage cloth Wiring and a Genuine Jumbo Sprague orange capacitor. These upgrades alone are worth over £100"
The impression I've got is that Ryder have had these basses in for a while as a bit of an 'experiment' but weren't selling them fast enough at the price they were asking.
Given that once they've 'gone' there are no more, looks to me that they've dropped the price right down to £60 just to shift them out of the door...
That's exactly right.
I bought mine for a bit of fun to see if it could be made playable at a gig. I've done that and will be using it again on Sunday.
Given something back to a good cause and I'm having fun as a result.
Karma, peace love joy!!
What a beautiful bass !
It's such a shame you let the case go. I would have been very interested indeed but without it's case I would have to buy one so I'll end up spending over £900 which is remarkably close to a new one.
Good luck with the sale!
Tom.
