  1. Pics up
  2. Thanks for the input guys, I paid £675 for it a while back. It really is in stunning condition for its age too. Nice to know someone else has one the same age Fingerz, you sound happy with it. I can't get over how loud the pickups are, more than my MIA Jazz. I'll take a pic and stick it up tomorrow.
  3. Hi folks, I have a 75 reissue Jazz MIJ in 3 tone sunburst that I want to sell. It's from 1985 and is in pretty much immaculate condition, rosewood board with block markers and what sound like very high output pickups. Anyone got an idea of value to put on it please? 26 year old models of this bass are a bit thin on the ground. Thanks for any advice. Pics now up.
  4. This guy sells stuff that's been rejected by the worst guitar shops in the world, dredged from the skips outside the chinese factories that employ only the blind beggars to make them. To be fair he does give refunds if you're not happy. I once bought 2 strat copies for 30 quid each when he first started. The necks were like bananas and not fixable. Sold them to a lad for 45 quid each Winner. wouldn't get away with it now though, "Swift music of old london town"
  5. Gorgeous bass, I have 2 of them and can't justify a third one bump.
  6. What happened?
  7. Bump, really rare and collectable.
  8. Strewth is that all they're worth? Was it the made in UK model?
  9. What a guy! Great friendly communication, Jack is one of life's good people. I bought some recording stuff and it arrived promptly and in great condition. Cheers my man. Tom.
  10. What kind of value to you place on it?
  11. 'Twas mine, this really is an awesome bass and I'd guess with the SD's it'll be even better. Good luck with the sale!
  12. It probably is a worthy product and a great piece of engineering, I don't think your average gigmeister would have the time or inclination to mess about with it live. I do think you can have too many 'tones', after a while they all merge and you forget which ones you liked imo of course.
  13. Stunning bass! I got married for the 1st time then Not a happy time sadly.
  14. Happy new year too Karl! I'm not sure about the width, I'll dig it out and have a measure after shopping.... Nice house for sale opposite us
  15. As you say a nice problem to have. As I have 2 L2000's I set each one slightly different and once I find the sound I like then I leave it alone. I had a 2EQ stingray and nice as it was it didn't do it for me, it felt a bit bland. We're all different I guess.
  16. This is really rare, I only know of one other.
  17. Just sold my USA Precision to Dan. What a great guy to deal with! Very fast payment, friendly emails. A true gent and happy to deal again (and again) Cheers Dan.
  18. Adam has just bought my CV P bass and I have to say that it was a very quick and easy transaction. Friendly emails, lightning fast payment. Can't ask for better. Happy to deal anytime, this is trading at its best! Cheers Adam.
  19. WOW, you kept that one quiet Stunner!
  20. Gary has just bought my Cort T74, an absolute gent to deal with. Great communication, friendly emails and a very prompt payment. Please trade with confidence, Gary is a great guy! Cheers, Tom.
  21. I said that but nothing happened.....
  22. If I can borrow yours please Eric? I can see then what I need better. Thanks for that.
  23. Anyone know what size socket fits the truss rod please? Did you find one Eric?
  24. Good man! I've searched for my 'holy grail' for 2 years and found it with a G&L Tribute. In fact I love its versatility sooo much that I bought another! Both maple boards. I've owned (and still own) some really nice expensive Fenders but could never decide whether to take a Jazz or a P to church. Now it's no problem, I just have to decide what colour Glad you're pleased with your choice.
  25. Yeah, I've had people say "you are very close to a deal!" and will you accept £x? they then disappear to see if they can afford it never to be heard from again
