[/quote] You are right about the tuning and about gaps between songs, but using a capo can indeed put a guitar out of tune. There are a few things you can do to help mitigate it but sometimes it can't be helped.

3mm Nylon Big Stubbies for me. Thick plectrums just feel nicer on bass.

I filled in a review, and they mentioned something about it being reviewed/fact-checked. Fair enough. However its still giving me the option to review the product...is that right or did I do something wrong? Should I write it again? *sigh*

Inspired by this thread I finally checked them out and sadly I'm going to be the party pooper. I want to like them, I like the idea of them, but once I got past the novelty of "ooh, thats a bass making that sound" the actual music doesn't do much for me. Ahh well, there's lots of other bands out there I do like

Some generic pedal types that spring to mind are : Bitcrushers Harmonisers Specific pedals: Zvex Machine (this is a fuzz/distortion but a very unique one) Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine (this is a combination of lots of things which makes it sound pretty unique). Your "normal" list is also missing EQ, tremolo, and delay, and "whammy" should probably be called "pitch shifting" to make it more generic.

Wouldn't an EQ do what you want?
