Hi BCers, Got this in a trade from MB1 a the start of the year, wouldn't mind keeping it: A particularly nice G&L L2000 Tribute - looks like an older version (No made in Indonesia sign!). Its natural swamp ash with a hard rock maple neck and fretboard with that all important 21st fret. Its surprisingly light 8lbs-ish! The electronics are the same as the USA model with the big active/passive which I love, favourite electronics to date. Swirling in the pop zone and a mark above the heel. Comes with hardshell case and new strings. Punches well above its weight, very versatile. Nothing else to say. Full review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WT4AP58jC5o £350 collected from Cardiff or £365 Posted, price is firm - I'd rather keep it for any less! No trades. Bank Transfer/Cheque only. No Paypal. P.S Apologies to MB1 for using his photos

Poll: Which Fender Jazz would you buy & why?
Schnozzalee replied to OutToPlayJazz's topic in Bass Guitars
I've never had the pleasure of playing a Jazz other than an American Standard in Cranes Cardiff. They can't set up basses for sh*t so I wasn't impressed. Quietly spectating, I'd trust Bubinga5 on this one - he's probably tried every Jazz lol. -

I put up whatever price breaks even or would please me first, buyer second. I'd expect that as a buyer too. Only when i'm in financial trouble will I drop it below. If it takes someones fancy, they'll pay for it without making a lower offer - I always seem to do that with Charvel gear  . Also I dont think a fretless should be worth less than a fretted ever. Getting it fretted is criminal, I started on a fretless and the feel/sound is beautiful but I wouldn't play it exclusively, half the time though at least. Fretless P's create my favourite tone, I reckon I could manage the neck too. Question is P retro or no P retro?? Lovely bass, would pitch an offer if I could own more than one I love S/R/T finishes...and lamp

Makes me wanna play guitar. The bassist just keeps pulling the open G over and over and over. Slap bores me 80% of the time.

Poor quality sound clips will be continually added until sale using my Olympus dictaphone lol. All recording will be created from a Genz Benz 750 set to flat on the clean channel and involve changes solely from the Hoyer's gibson electronic circuit. No pedals included. Hopefully it will give you an impression of the aggressive thump and growl of the bass. Vintage vibrations ). Apologies for poor playing and random inaccurate licks.
