  1. Great stuff - Saw British Lion in Carlisle, so a bit of a shame they didnt come back for a 3rd tour 😔. I really enjoyed it. The new signature p sucks big time.
  2. One thing I remember was that I took it to Overwater for a full setup, but the pole pieces crackle to the touch, so it was very much a pick/plectrum-only bass, but i guess a RIC is anyway.
  3. Looks like my old one - I bought it for £650 in 2006. Best rock bass Ive played is one of those old Vigier Arpeges though. They've more in the tank than a Birchenbacker.
  4. Id post this on the thread discussing these - It wasnt so long ago and might save someone joining the waiting list.
  5. I think i prefer the rosewood board but its between this and the 70s 'walnut' finish (with cream dimarzios) for me.
  6. It's what the last Kakapo would have wanted 🥹
  7. Yeah, it's great - Scan the QR code every time you want to take a piss and then have a meeting with your Line Manager to discuss any prostate problems👌
  8. Watch Phillip McKnight's recent tour of the Cort factory...
  9. Thank you - I can't find a Bossa bass anywhere in the UK. I have another Bossa guitar that was Brian Monroney's (Tom Jones etc) and it's my #1 💛
  10. Very nice 👌
  11. Who agreed that? Honestly...
  12. It looks awful, but I'm sure its great... But it looks bloody awful.
  13. I felt like they were doing well until McLaren took over from Paul Gagon. They pumped out loads for Andertons/PMT/GuitarGuitar in 2018, in okoume, caribbean rosewood etc and gig bags... They just fell flat. Gutted though because this is/was my favourite brand.
  14. Id snap that up and find out later. The body has a mastumoku look.
  15. Imagine gettin' pumped £2k for a partscaster...
  16. I love it, but I just know it'll mess up my muscle memory for when I play my fretless 34". As someone thats always had to live in shared housing, I appreciate the idea of having something small but luxury to move with... That said, you'd have to achieve some interesting wrist angles.
  17. I've played the green Wattplower in a shop in Glasgow and a few other Reverend guitars - They're very well made. I like the look of the yellow and root beer, but I prefer a 34" scale. The pink fade up top is lovely.
  18. Ash and maple to be 'Classic Vibe' otherwise its just 'Budget Chinese' up at £500. I'm sure Sire will do it properly, if they haven't already.
  19. Thank you - They're great ole reliable amps, but I'm finishing up with bass playing after 20 years, so this is my final amp. The 30 is a similar size to the Roland Cube 30, but can get much louder (if you need it to).
  20. Trace tone you can lift comfortably. Handles a low B with ease.
  21. You could try H J Williams too (Ex Overwater).
