...But they're the absolute opposite of 'Zing'
-
From reading the OP I would stick with Roundwounds.

I've had to save Mike Duda's towel a few times and now I've put a fake spider from the Early Learning Centre in it, just in case. Always buy shirts - Especially if they're £20, as that's not much more than something in TK Maxx. I forgot my Judas Priest shirts!! I wish I'd stored them in a suitcase, but I wear them all the time.

Just wanted to see what cool stuff people have got from Gigs etc? I've got... A towel and pick from Mike Duda of WASP A printed canvass signed by Jack Bruce An album signed by Chris Squire ('Fish out of Water) and then T-Shirts from the following - Jethro Tull, Whitesnake, Iron Maiden, Bob Dylan, Jack Bruce and Thunder. So not so remarkable. A friend of mine has Keith Moon's Drumsticks...That's the best I know of. What you got?

Love the Guitar Pickups (particularly the Humbuckers), but the Bass Models don't do it for me - I like more Definition.

+1 ^ Got a chance to meet him at a Cardiff Bass Bash and he was exactly the same in person - Loved his Shuker 5 String P.

How do you find Maru Basses in comparison with your Vintage Fenders? (You can tell I've been away a while - Just found out what a Limelight was a couple of weeks ago)

These sound amazing - Really impressed by Xotic Basses -
I think the problem with a P/J Bass is the same as a HSS Stratocaster - The pickups don't balance.

There must be a previous Thread related to this but I can't find it so... What's the best Lightweight Gigging Amp at the moment? I don't mind if it's a combo or a stack and I'm flexible with my budget. When I was last playing around 2010, most were choosing a Genz Benz Streamliner w/ Neodynium Cabs and I want to know what the favourite is now? I play mostly 60s - 90s music and I don't want to go too modern. Please let me know your thoughts.

Best Bongo Colour - BUMP -
Love those Corts. Once you go Fretless, you can't do without - They really sing and add a bit more depth I feel. Enjoy!
