1. Marleaux basses, weigh nothing and I always have back problems. I was comfortable with an EB3 and a Kubicki also but the Marleaux was by far the nicest bass i've EVER had
2. This looks so cool, the neck looks all played in and lovely
3.
Have you checked out the Blackstar 1W series? Ideal for home practice and great tone. Also only around £100, so you could get away with keeping both the guitars.
Ooo thankyou I hadn't seen one of those!! I'm glad I didn't buy one of those Vox headphone plugins!! I will be getting one of those in the near future and i'm aiming to get an amp towards 30-50w in the distant future for band practice. Unfortunately I was planning to fund myself with a Government Grant on my PGCE teaching course next year but as those have now gone i've gotta push for a sale on both and keep my fingers crossed I can keep my Charvel!
4.
Sweeeeet....
Thank you , tis indeedy! But I don't have an amplifier to play it through . I've been going to my guitarist friends house to play it through a Fender Champ XD and a Blackstar HT40 and it sounds fab but the reason for the sale is so I can get my own! Neither the G&L or the ESP have any issues - just desperately need an amp!

6. USA G&L Legacy with Matching Headstock, Branded Gigbag and Certificate of Authenticity signed by Leo Fender's wife Phyllis. (Mint condition). Pictures: http://s1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/S...e/Music%20Gear/ This guitar was imported from the US at the price of £1400, it has a tangerine red finish and a creamy tobacco pickguard, pickups and toggles to give it a real vintage vibe. The guitar has been setup for use without the tremolo thereby adding sustain. The guitar can do the vintage strat sound but it can also do meaty and won't sound as thin/glassy when its clean if you make use of the tone control. I will include a new set of Ernie Ball Regular 10 gauge strings upon sale. Here are a couple of Vids, you can see a left handed version of mine in the rack on the first video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iw0ILsoH-aE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X38MYMD2fiQ...feature=related Specifications: PICKUPS 3 G&L vintage style Alnico V single coil pickups BODY WOOD Alder on Standard and all solid finishes, Swamp Ash on all Premier finishes NECK WOOD Hard Rock Maple with Rosewood or Maple fingerboard NECK RADIUS 12" (304.8mm) NECK WIDTH AT NUT 1 5/8" (41.3mm) TUNING KEYS 12:1 ratio, sealed lubrication, adjustable knob tension BRIDGE G&L Dual Fulcrum vibrato with chrome-plated brass saddles CONTROLS 5 position pickup selector, PTB system FINISH Standard finishes included OTHER Chrome Hardware; 3-ply White pickguard; Deluxe Hardshell Tolex Case w/Fitted Interior
7. Up for sale is my as new polished and lemon oiled ESP PC-2V doublecut, the best of the Xtone series. In a nut shell its a Gibson esque spec ES 335 meets les paul with licensed bigsby bar with the stock pickups from the 'Slash' Gibson Les Paul custom. So anything goes from Jazz to Metal. He's been professionally setup too and has all the shredding capability of an ESPneck with only slightly unorthodox looks and vintage tones. This cost me £950 on the high street (pre-setup) and was the best of 3 I tried Extras are: Schaller Straplocks, Jonathon Edwards Leathercraft Brass Buckle Custom Strap Shubb Capo I could add a Line 6 Tone Core Overdrive pedal which is new if collected, don't think it will fit in the box!! 9. If this was a four i'd be going crazy for it, its a fantastic bit of quality for the money
10. PMs replied! Thankyou but I'm not interested in bass trades anymore i'm afraid - cash or Guitar Valve Amplication please
11. Welcome to come try him out if you bring a mini practice amp, i'm not lying when i say its as good as a Gibson
12.
All of them... but the one that I really, really regret was this one... It's a hand-made Le Voi. I sold it for £1,000 which is a fraction of what it's worth. I've never played anything that could touch it. What a dumb ass.
!!!Always wanted one of these!!!
13.
My trusty old ESP
Purdy! ESP are damn good I've got 3 quality guitars I love and do everything I want at the moment: G&L Legacy ESP PC-2V Masterbuilt Charvel Legacy Star (last to go) Forced to part with at least one due to financial reasons
14. Many a time: '75 John Birch 4001, maybe should have learnt to play with a pick especially for it but then again I dunno... '94 Kubicki Key Factor, absolute snorter of a bass and suited my hands perfectly '56 Bravewood Telebass Replica, Lovely lovely lovely but seriously couldn't afford to keep it '07 Marleaux Custom Consat 5 Fretless, Another one that covered all the bases but couldn't afford to keep it '88 Goodfellow, real Alembic look about it and a birth year bass that I loved aesthetically but the neck aggravated a hand injury Cort A4 (made fretless by Overwater) suited me perfectly and my first bass so of sentimental value Late 60's Hoyer EB3 Custom, vintage tones at a quality price '88 Jackson Charvel Star guitar shortly replaced with an '07 masterbuilt version There'll be a couple of others but now i've changed to guitar I regret the loss at lot less - just grateful I had the opportunity to own so many flawless basses and hope the new owners enjoy them as much as I did
15. Back up and with included extras and price drop from £600 to £550. A bargain to be had.
16.
youll see it tomorrow
Lol i'm only messing, i'd love a Ric if I had bigger hands , Chris Squire's tone has to be nearing the best. Congrats on the bargain!
17.
i got it from a friend of my mom who used to be a bass player but developed carpel tunnel, he has a Fender Precision that was his 1st bass back in the 70's and the Rick and he just asked how much i was going to spend on a bass and amp and i told him that i was trying to get a Ibanez GSR200 thats costs around 250 so his words were "dont get that rubbish, i'll give you mine for the 250, i never used it in 20 years" so i actually gonna get a Rick for 250€ ^_^
...And then you woke up
18. Haha awesome soundclip, lovely precision tone! Cool accent too!
19. Ebony's the best i've tried too. Maple is thin sounding but agressive and rosewood deep and warm and ebonys the happy medium...crispy clear and got some depth
20. bargain! I must be missing something with this Telecaster craze at the moment
21. Bit fit, looks like a Custom P
