2. £700 for something that beautifully versatile is a steal and at that price definately a gig-able bass too!
3. This just looks fantastic
4.
MB1. "Do i really need to sample Sue Ryders P? "
I'd recommend them very pleased with mine.
5. +1 Definate need for photos
6. I know this would suit me down to the ground, something about MEC's I can't put my finger on
7. !!! Never knew suck things existed! Looks great fun to play
8. Would you really bother selling a £60 bass? I'd give it to someone in my family or even a mate lol
9. I might get another in Red just to buck the trend, looks good to me
10. I poo'd, they're gonna be good! Mine'll be here monday and the praise will continue...fingers crossed
11.
I like a bit of punch.
Ahh I think thats where I go sissy, I would love it if there was such a thing as a Fretless EB3...but that would be dreaming. Tony Franklin Fretless would be the next best thing for me I reckon.
12.
Would look even better with a white one. I would probably have this off you if I could sell a couple of my basses and get some money. However, nothing is selling at the moment so I'm a bit stuck I'm afraid.
No worries, everythings stuck in limbo at the moment. Don't suppose you've tried flats on your 2eq? I was thinking of getting some TI's for it and wearing them into a warm dub tone
13. This would look great with an clear pickguard...
14. What components (if any) would you mod Tom? Wonder who's going to be the first to try fitting a fender scratchplate...
15. Gotta trust Tom on this one - I've ordered a sonic blue one, may get the first red one too...maybe white??
16. If I had the money i'd be interested, I thought these were passive though
17. Ok PM me if you need it posted and i'll get something sorted for an extra £20
18. Rocco Prestia and Jeffrey Hammond. Glascock's been mentioned
19.
how does this sound acoustically ? and what are you asking cash wise ? It might be me but it seems to be a little unclear in your post. Ta very glad BIGd
Hi BigD, Sounds great acoustically as its semi hollow so its got some great body to it on chords, I've been using it mostly as a song writing guitar which usually leads to playing Freebird . Plugged in the neck pickup is fantastic for blues and has some southern character when used with the bigsby. The neck pickup is a crisp crunch sound ACDC esque and the pickups are lovely n quiet so its not the best for Ted Nugent feedback tricks like he does his deep semi hollow ES-137. Very much a mix of a Gibson ES-335 and a Les Paul but with a comfier neck and better intonation, the build quality is a match. I'm after £600 as its as new, best of 3 from a high street shop costing £950 and I paid £100 for a pro setup and I can also string it with a new set of Dean Markley 10's. If my Stingray goes I'm keeping it. Kind Regards Oli Matt EDIT: Just tried to find a video on Youtube for you but they're still poor apart from the chap playing the singlecut version on my original ad above unfortunately
20.
Cheers bud. Are you still in Carlisle?
I'm in Cardiff University for half the year, other half i'm on my hols back in a place called Burgh just outside. Not many Carlisle bassists on here though, I think theres only two others - Martin who works for Overwater n owns a pretty Progress III and another BCer comes to mind that owns a couple of lovely Overwater Jazzes like yours and an Evolution. I'm the odd one out I'll own an Overwater one day when the moneys good . I know a Phil Rogers back home, but that can't be you cos hes a Thunderbird player. Best o luck with the sale! Shouldn't be a hard sell BCers are crazy for Super J's :gas
21.
How the he&^ is this still here?
Snap! +1
