In a nut shell its a Gibson esque spec ES 335 meets les paul with licensed bigsby bar with the stock pickups from the 'Slash' Gibson Les Paul custom. So anything goes from Jazz to Metal. He's been professionally setup too and has all the shredding capability of an ESPneck with only slightly unorthodox looks and vintage tones. This cost me £950 on the high street (pre-setup) and was the best of 3 I tried Extras are: Schaller Straplocks, Jonathon Edwards Leathercraft Brass Buckle Custom Strap Shubb Capo I could add a Line 6 Tone Core Overdrive pedal which is new if collected, don't think it will fit in the box!! These are all singlecut versions - the doublecut looks far better in my honest opinion! Only the last chap has the top model fitted with Licensed Bigsby and has removed the pickup covers. Schnozzalee Posted April 11, 2011 Author Share Posted April 11, 2011 Now I've restrung it with the Ernie Ball slinkys and played them in the guitars strangely giving me a more Gretsch-esque tone but I'd strongly recommend Dean Markley 10's for the 'bassier' ES-335 sound I was getting before.
