1. Ah I'd be kitted out for life with the dirty blonde & bleached blonde - would just want a genz benz or TC electronic rig to compliment them
2.
Nope. Usually end up thinking 'I can't believe you lot are stupid enough to pay us to come and play songs you already heard 10000000000000000 times before, that are piss easy to play and let us come back every other month and pay us to play the same set again!'
THIS!!! ^^^
3. What would you prefer? 2 high quality guitars/basses and a good quality low wattage amp OR 1 high quality guitar/bass, a good quality low wattage amp and a custom high wattage amp ???
4. Further to this!! All the guitar techs I know who fix up 100's of guitars a year always seem to have a Tele as their own personal guitar...coincidence??
5. Yeah these are lovely, I'm the same and prefer the old reissues but the modifications/upgrades Fender have added over the years make the things a damn sight easier to play!! Haha. I reckon this one will grow on you, i've always been a strat/ES 335 fan and near hated the tele for both looks and sound but after you own one for a couple o months you get attached to it and can't put it down...it's surreal mine's beckoning me now...
6. Love that guitar with the naughts and crosses on the back, just looks cushy
7. This is my favourite bass is the world
8. Bargain, Dave's always got quality gear at a great price - BUMP!!! EDIT: vintage white and a spotless f-board is a great finish ALSO I've owned several fretless basses and the sturdiness of a carbon neck maintaining your setup is highly beneficial. I'm not a fan of the carbon board sound, i think it lacks warmth/vintage tone, so this would be a perfect bass for myself.
9. Yet another beautiful guitar, bump for Zapp - always has quality gear. I'm a Strat fan too but ES-335 type guitars are a close second!! Check out Johnny A! EDIT: Strat Cat I should say, sounds marginally cooler
10. I like the telecaster without the pickguard...just a shame i'm more of a Stratocaster guy
11. My dream bass
12. Well the silver certainly is the nicest finish when you look at em properly - a good choice!
13. Yup, it's true!! Check the headstock at the end!! I thought I recognised that tone, they really are that good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGf9JcmJgC4&feature=related
14. Rare colour this, I've seen a precision version locally and it's really eye catching - been tempted
15. I nearly bought this off Ebay from somewhere in Scotland - far far too heavy though for a lil guy like me, I stuck to my stratocasters
16. I think by 'neck shaving' and 'refret' he means he changed the original neck to a 90's jazz as well...
17. Skjold and Wood & Tronics 6'ers really catch my eye, I love!! If this had a darker facing i'd be switching back from guitar to bass, love the cutaway and the smooth wood work on the upper bout, beautiful - as is Naarrich
18. Thanks Chris, I was playing for 6 years and this finally killed off my GAS and I started to concentrate on my playing
