1. Hi Cyrene, its been incorporated into a trade deal i'm doing end of next week but if it doesn't go through you'll be the first to know if your interested.
2. Oh so thats what those are!! I've spotted these on various guitars.
3. Seen him play it, it's BEASTLY!!
4.
I'm possibly being silly but... whats an EUB?
Electric Upright Bass
5. Bargain price, I love it! I like it as it is with the headstock.
6. I thought he played a black john birch with white poka dots?? I owned a 70's Birch 4001, sounded just like Geezer plugged in but i didn't get along with the high output pickups - very much a pick players bass EDIT: He has the humbug sg one here, Jaydee made a version of it later too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGQyVhB2r8c&feature=fvst
7.
No love for 'G' then?
I love G on the E string best
8. I'm jealous BUT I reckon its probably going to weigh a tonne so time to invest in a nice wide strap!
9. bump for fenders best finish!
10. That's beautiful, which it was closer to home so I could come see!!
11.
It performs really well when slapping but it's not a one-trick pony...A lot of sounds are possible and the sustain is great.
24 frets on a 32" scale would feel as easy as playing a guitar but not so short that your fingers would trip over themselves! I'd buy one of these for finger style, I think it would be kind to my hand injury also! BUMP!!!
12.
The ones made by Paddington Bear certainly did as he was always proud of his handiwork when he was sent to Fender Japan on work experience. The marmalade did tend to stain the lacquer though.
13. A Fender Precision with a Jazz nut and vice versa seems like the best innovation but they just don't seem to make it standard
14. Thats such a nice combo for a jazz, always black plate with maple
15. Oh you guys!! Hahaha this is my favourite thread for a while
16.
For me, when I had high-mass bridges, the lows seemed to be tighter, the highs more crisp and precise, and the overall sound more hi-fi. I found that the high-mass bridge seemd to take away from the Precision what the Precision is famed for, but really exaggerated all that a Jazz is famed for.
I really like this response, this is why I refused to buy the 50's 60's classic player stratocasters - vintage fretwire and jumbo frets make a big difference to tone IMHO. No one else really notices these tiny tonal differences but it really frustrates me just as much as fretbuzz. ALSO Badass bridges are so ugly, I hated it when it was on my glam rock bass I may have thought differently if it didn't have 'BADASS' engraved on it for all to see.
17. It's a '62 precision style neck so its pretty slim at the nut and much more playable than a '57. The machineheads are great quality as is the rest of the hardware on a Sue!
18. This is such a nice bass
19. Momma always said, "If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"...so i'll shush *zips mouth*
20.
Ask him if it'll fit a Squier Affinity.
Please do!
21. Its an ESP/Ltd, can't remember the model name but Mike Duda from WASP was using one when I caught his pick! EDIT: EC 414FM http://www.espguitars.com/basses/ltd-stand...e/ec-414fm.html ESP make great guitars, japanese quality . I had a PC-2V, easily as good as an ES335 with Bigsby and only £850. That ^ one's only £600 with a fantastic spec!!

23.
Playing a bit of guitar at the moment and saw this.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-1980-Ric...#ht_1256wt_1141 How good would that look alongside my 4001 on stage....?
I've been interested in these since Kasabian's first TV appearance, they're the only modern band I listen to, although, their newest singles have been less than great . I don't think i'd go for one at that price though, maybe £1600 . I don't actually know what they're worth??
24. This was mine and Bob Palt's before, so its been well looked after by BC'ers . I'd recommend this as an amp for some who plays all sorts of different styles and basses as the FET channel has your clean hi fi tones and the Valve channel your booming vintage tones - theres no brittle tones, this things got ballz!! More than EBS I'd go for one of these over those anyday. I miss this amp very much. Gutted to hear about the Elbow injury Garbev, you were loving the EUB!! Hope it clears up!
25. Ok final bump before I move to Carlisle from the Cardiff area! Last chance for the Southerners!!!
