Fret board is ebony. Heal block is maple with buckeye. Moreover, if to trust the information provided in the correspondence with JensWest, who has been interested in this bass and was checking it with Enrico from Wood & Tronics, this Zoid used to belong to Viz. Here is a little excerpt from what Jens has written (I hope this is okay with you, Jens, that I publish it): [b][i]VM had your bass built with Q-tuner pickups in it. They were changed on VM's demand to Kent Armstrong pu's. VM traded your bass in for a new VM sign.[/i][/b] One of the previous owners has mentioned in the post that the bass was completely refinished when traded.
