1. I'll take that! If it's not been taken already? Pm me to arrange your payment choice.... PayPal, or bank transfer ideally.
2. Bought a Midi keyboard from John the other day... His comms were brilliant, and he kept me informed the whole time until it was delivered. Item arrived well packed and in great order. I can heartily recommend this stalwart of the Basschat forums! One of the many good guys I have had dealings with on this forum. Cheers Buddy! Andy
3. I *THINK* the Polytune does have the option to switch it to not mute. I only know as my bands 2 guitarists use theirs in through mode. I have one but like it the way it is tbh.
4. Yeah I had a listen. I think he posted the link a day after I last posted. It actually sounds quite cool.
5. I have two of these too. Just THE best pre made. IMHO anyway. I'm still tempted as that's a decent price for an out of production unit. 3 would probably be overkill though...
6. Where is the bass located? Am I missing that? I'm on an iPad and I think the info get cut.
7. I was wrong. It's a Vintage clone. It's available now, but I've not heard one yet. No sound clips available ATM. http://www.u-sound.net/?id=61 Apparently it works out at about £110 plus £10 postage
8. And yet I bought a B3K, and didn't include it in my chain after several attempts to like it. Bought the Vintage, and it's the one pedal I wouldn't be without now. If anyone is interested 'Oleg' the guy at 'U Sound' has cloned a Vintage and is selling them at about £110 http://www.u-sound.net/?id=61 It's a brand new pedal so I don't have first hand knowledge of how close it sounds myself. Might be worth a punt if you're a fan of the Vintage OD.
9. I was trying to track down a Yellow Q pedal a couple of years ago after hearing one on you tube. Asked on here but eventually got in touch with Oleg myself, directly in Russia. He's a lovely guy and made purchasing very easy. The Yellow Q turned out to be tuned for guitar players really, and a bit too sensitive for bass, but after chatting with him, he sent me a diagram of the resistor I would need to replace, with a new value one. (Haven't tried it yet as I love it as a guitar pedal tbh) But he's a nice guy and will make a pedal suit ones needs if needed. He's currently making a Darkglass clone pedal prototype which might be very interesting. And perhaps cheaper, I dunno... I have a b3k. And a vintage, so if I buy one of Olegs pedals I'll let everyone know how it compares...
10. I own a couple, great pedals and he's a great guy, but they aren't popular over here and I can't understand why.... So I decided to ask... Not much of a result yet though, which kind of proves the point.
11. Hi guys. A guy I speak to in Russia makes 'boutique' pedals under the name "U Sound". I'm wondering if any of you know/own any of his pedals and if you do, what your thoughts are?
12. Fishman Fission? Might help a little...
13. Tried to PM you but encountered an error message. Will take the cable & am in Sheffield too. Andy.
14. Try the microtube vintage. I also have the B3k and just dont get on with it because it's got that fizzy sound (to my ears) which I dont like. The vintage is just usable on all settings. I also have Sansamp, a Tonehammer, an Agro and others, all of which sounded fizzy. Borrow a Vintage, see if that is what you're after. Edit: In fairness I'm not describing speaker overdrive, but if you want something which doesn't fizz, maybe that's whats important.
15. Wasn't this bass married to King Henry the Eighth for a while?
16. I just noticed this too: http://basschat.co.u...nd-412-s-cover/ Worth consideration... trully awesome cabs. And 4 x 12 plus around your budget... Lightweight too... This would be all the cab you'd ever need. Full-stop! Hmmm Can *I* justify another cab?
17. Is it fair to say the body has slight Mojo'ing? I know there is a trend for *roadworn* basses, but one has to draw the line somewhere...
18. LOL I like it. Not gushing, and nicely understated!
19. There are quite a few Schroeder 2x12 cabs on the for sale section... They are around the £400 mark (used) but you'd be hard pressed to get a more audible cab in a band situation for the size/weight. (Look for the 1212L as the "L" means the speakers are Neodymium, and the cab is an easy 1 handed lift) I love the schroeders...
20. I *LOVE* mine. I've always used a pretty clean sound for everything I've done because I never liked what most pedals were doing to my tone. However, this pedal is just on all the time. It's sits there doing exactly what it should... It makes me sound better! No fizz no appreciable loss of my preferred tone... Just the ticket (for me)
21. +1 for the "Earthquaker Devices - Dispatch Master" It's a brilliant sounding pedal and does it all! It even sounds good enough to run it subtly all the time for a massive chubby sound. (Depending on what you're doing I guess.) I wouldn't recommend the "TCH Hall of Fame" personally. It's sounds ok, But even though they say it's 'True Bypass', your signal chain will be completely dead if the battery runs out. I dunno if it's something to do with relays or whatever, but battery death is a pretty serious thing to not be able to bypass. -1 for the "H.O.F." I had to take the first one back too... It would just stop producing a reverb sound intermittently. I lost my confidence in the TC after these problems, even though the replacement one seems to work ok.
22. Bought an Epifani 502 from Loz. Great guy to deal with. Super efficient with the communications too! Gave me perfect directions right to the door of the pick up... I can wholeheartedly recommend him as a seller! My thanks Loz! Andy
23. Hi buddy. Good luck with the sale! Incredible intrument!
