  1. CP Grogan from Altered Images, Toyah and Trevor Horn (Buggles)?
  2. Roots, Radicals and Rockers by Stiff Little Fingers
  3. Siouxsie and the Banshees covered "Dear Prudence" in 1983, having covered "Helter Skelter" a few years earlier.
  4. Curiously, not long after watching this/reading the post, a signed copy of Therapy?'s greatest hits dropped through my door!
  5. I usually sing "Dum dumma dumma dum dum waaahh, dum dumma dumma dum dum waaahh..."😄
  6. Belfast has been ruined over the years and I don't mean by the bombs in the "good old days". Whole areas of the city centre have been destroyed, or are due to be destroyed, all in the name of regeneration.
  7. I've used them on my phone and mp3 player and are fine with them.
  8. I was 16, so probably listening to Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Morbid Angel... He following year Smells Like Teen Spirit came out and things changed a lot.
  9. I think I need a better pair of headphones. I have a pair of Sony, but tonight I plugged them into my amp (Fender Rumble 25) for the first time and the sound was awful. It sounded badly overdriven, even though the volume was low.
  10. Radiohead's Pablo Honey was a good album, but a bit ordinary compared with what came after.
  11. I saw Sisters of Mercy live a couple of years ago. They were about halfway through one particular song before I realised what it was.
  12. My 11 year old daughter has been listening to some 80's stuff and quite likes Blondie, after Miley Cyrus covered one of their songs. I think it's don to Spotify.
  13. Whilst not strictly punk, they do tend to get lumped into the genre, so, anything by Ian Dury and the Blockheads, especially Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick.
  14. No mention of Robert Bean from Black Rebel motorcycle Club yet? or Nicky Wire on the odd track for the Manics.
  15. I've got a Crème Brulee t-shirt from the "Voodoo Lady" tour. Heady days indeed.
  16. "Hello Cleveland! We are Swimming Through Mud!" Any glam covers band looking a name, you can have that one on me (us)
  17. Stiff Little Fingers and Iron Maiden often wear their own shirts.
  18. Leg? Doesn't everyone play with the bass behind their head, resting on the shoulders?
  19. Thank goodness for that. I don't really read music and only know about the Circle of Fifths in theory, so when I looked at the music I decided to try and work out the key, not noticing that you had given the (incorrect) key in the title. Then I got really confused.
  20. I always loved this sketch. "Sorry wrong page"
  21. Wasn't there a bit of a stink kicked up recently about Burberry or some other fashion house doing this?
