My brother has moved into my flat, and so, with less space than before ,and less patience these days, the above have to go. The basses are C H Guitars brand . My friend Chris's brand. They are in excellent condition ,and have never left the house. Being in a band, and learning mainly 4 string tuning ,I haven't played these much at all. The 8 string is very loud, and powerful. (Too much for the flat to be honest) The 6 string feels good ,and has a lovely blue quilted maple top. The Eden combo has been advertised here before, with no takers, but many pm's.It is in excellent condition , and is fairly portable with a 250 watt output. It has been gigged a few times, and easily copes with 2 guitarists and a loud drummer, with volume to spare. Prices? If you were to buy the 8 string with the combo together, I'd say £420.00 o.n. o. 6 string with the Combo? £380.00 o.n.o Items I'm interested in: Kubicki ex factor, Boss Delay pedal/Flanger/phaser/octaver a headless bass with drop D or headless 5 string. EBS pedals. OR A 5 STRING LES PAUL BASS I may be selling my 5 string Schecter to another basschatter(he wants this, but is prepared to wait for me to get an equivalent) and my Telebass may go also. Let me know what you've got. Collection Central London or Twickenham(south west Londonish)

My amp pop's when i turn it on
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE replied to victor5string's topic in Repairs and Technical
I used to have an old OHM 150 watt head/cab. Loud as f**k It always did the same as your amp,but there wern't any problems with it. Having said that,I did get it serviced once as I used to bash the head about on public transport. -
I saw them supporting Motley Crue of all bands way back on the Crue's Theatre Of Pain tour at Hammy. Great gig!! That was the night (Valentine's Day) that Nikki went out straight after the gig, scored some brown, OD'ed and was pronounced clinically dead in hospital. Clever lad!
me too. Saw them a few times in london. Thought the Albert Hall was a mistake tho' , the atmosphere was lost there. Funny band tho'- great live ,but I just think they're too wimpy on record. -
What an interesting thread....yea Lemmy all the way. My god - I'm mainly a guitarist and he nearly turned me to the dark side (bass) LOL. Saw them three times way back...hahaha..Calvert days. Fencking hell. A girl stood next to me went into a fit as they entered the 7th minute of strobe work in brainstorm. She had one. I had my eyes closed but the pulsing even shone through my eyelids and then my hands...scary stuff! Brill.
Calvert? I met him years ago,and have a battered book signed by him (Hype). Think it was HMV . He was a great, smashing polite bloke. He was gonna busk in the subway in Hammersmith telling people not to buy Hawkwind records i i r c . Don't know if he did. Next day , we both walked past each other in green park. We were both scratching our heads in a 'haven't I seen you somewhere before?' moment. Met Lemold many times, but I'm ramblin' too much as it is

Was a huge Hawkfan, up until '87 . The Xenon codex being the last album I have. Yeah,I agree with 97 or so % of people that Lemmy is/was the man. Did like Harvey Bainbrdige and Adrian Shaws playing(High Rise). Lemmy on Orgone Accumulator rocks big time. Somehow lost interest in Hawkwind after Codex. There was alot of overpriced, legal bootleg vinyl in the '80s that was put in awful sleeves. The weird tapes were great tho'. May try to hunt down the cd equivalent one day. Recently met up with an old friend I haven't seen for years. He took a pic of my bass collection. Then he asked me why I haven't got a Rick Bass. Don't really know to be honest. I always remember an old Ricky of Lemmy's was for sale in the Record and tape exchange. Never got it as I was too young and skint. Coulldn't play much then Must say that the Sonic Attack tour was one of the best
Thanks for the offer but I don't need another amp at the moment. I've got no internet connection until tomorrow now (thanks to my fantastic ISP) so full pictures up then. As for trades I may be interested in a decent cab, 4x10 or 2x12 etc but I'd really prefer cash as I have something on order that needs paying for.
Thanks for reply, have a bump -
I'm based in Twickenham. Had this in spare room and it did the above very well. It looks good (one or two minor knocks). Looks like a cupboard from the office, but folds down into a single bed. Need the space now, so this has to go ASAP It is heavy, and has weights inside. Let me know ,if you're interested in this free bed
