  3. So much good advice here. May be a good time to get a headless bass , or a short scale one . Have the height of the bass the same standing up as sitting down. Relax. A lot of tension is held in the shoulders .

  6. Wow! Haven't had time to look at all responses yet-still working. I have monitors , and podfarm(line6 toneport ux1) Times are hard, and I wanna trade a bass or two for the right gear,)
  7. Little by little, I've started recording snippets and putting them onto soundcloud.(mellowcat if you are interested). Basses..check, USB keyboard.. Check, computer(mac mini ) .. Check, iPad and apps.. Check. Things I haven't got .. Mixer. controllers for GarageBand /logic . Drum pad things / sliders /samplers like maschine, akai etc. Any recommendations as to what else I need to complete ? Cheers
  8. Not into autographs anymore , but I have to say that anything drum related that's signed by the master that is Neal Peart is always a treasure to have . Have a bump. Btw , where did you get it?
  9. Went from being a couch potato, no bands to suddenly doing regular excercise and playing in 2 bands.. That was a few years ago. Saw a physio,and after 3 sessions it disappeared. Painful ,)

  12. On the contrary, o'neills do plenty of rock gigs. IMHO, London is very hard to play live covers gigs, tho I could be wrong.

  15. Must be my Aguilar amp and cab. Then a tiny bit of octaver, reverb, phaser and delay. Previously playing live, most was with no effects. One or two gigs had a smidgen of chorus. The last band I was in , I as using a zoom b2 1 u . Can't remember the setup on it tho. And it was only for 2 or 3 songs.
