2. When Andys was there ,before graham, they were appallingly bad. However, Graham talks the job through, before commitment .He is easy going, also there was another chap(Patrick ) who is ok Charle the young lady was nice too, although I think she's moved on. Horses for courses I guess,)
3. Graham Noden in Denmark Street .
4. ...and I must say ,all of the people were great to deal with,)
5. Nobody has mentioned the Rick Astley/Nirvana mashup. Which I thinki s better. I enjoyed this one tho'
6. One of the reasons I decided to no more band stuff. You rehearse once , sometimes twice a week. Then you practice at home , making sure you're up to speed etc. Then , after trying to find pub that do gigs, and haven't changed into a Tesco Metro, you find the same problems as the OP.
7. The most any rehearsal should be is 4hrs This would include a break , setting up equipment ,waiting for all of the band to arrive etc, If you stayed with the band, you could've had a row on stage , filmed it , and you tubed it,) Could've been fun. But really , you did the right thing by quitting. Enjoy your new band
8. Found them... Boss micro series (1986) Got 2 delays(1 with a pitch shifter), compressor/ limiter.reverb and chorus to follow . After that, I want the flanger and distortion. from that series ,then that's it. Will offload my multi effects very soon
9. Boss rps 10
10. I've just picked up a boss micro pitch shifter delay on eBay last week. Can't remember the model no. But it has oscillation on it . Check you pube
11. Is it still going?!? Surprised if it is. More ads than anything else.
12.
Then Yes. Just treat them like 2 active monitors (& if you want, you could plug your bass into a stereo pedal such as a chorus or a Bass Murf & fire one side to each).
cool!
13.
Would two sound twice as bad or just the same but more of it?
Yeah, twice as bad
14.
Do you mean daisy chaining them or using just like monitors in stereo?
just using them like monitors in stereo ,)
15. Going on a slight tangent here, I have a small kustom combo. I was wondering if I got another one, could I use them like studio monitors? I would have thought so, as they seem to power up the same way..
16. My brother keeps playing Stan webbs version of Hurt. It's killing me( He was playing some later floyd stuff and that was tedious. My suggestion: play reign in blood in its entirety ! Trouble is , it's not a very long album
17.
It really depends on the song. The only covers we do are ones that we can rework to suit us & therefore is more like a remix of the original rather than a copy. We try a song & if it doesn't fit after a couple of runs through, try a different approach. If it still doesn't, then we drop it. There's plenty of good songs to cover, so don't dwell on something just because you like the original. I like Bjork, but I'm having trouble convincing a 50 odd year old Canadian blues singing bloke to sing Hyperballad.
Do a metal version of the Bjork song .problem solved ,)
18. Thanks guys. I took a chance, and the first one was 'in' and I put the rest 'out' The power supply , was bought from Maplins yesterday, and the guy who sold it to me, was familiar with the Boss units. The power is spot on for all pedals. Another question: I have used patch leads etc. to join up the 3 boss units I have. However, only 2 will work together. Any ideas where I'm going wrong? Or can I only link up 2rack effects at a time?
19. Great song, great band
20. When joining multiple rack effects, does each 9v socket go into the in socket on each unit?it's just that in these particular boss units, there's an in /out feature.different from foot pedals Please advise Cheers
21.
Maplin have a wide seletion : http://www.maplin.co.uk/stick-on-feet-1840 I use them.
Thanks very much! Just what I need.
22. Cool! Nearest I got to disco, was 'I will survive'. I suggested it for a laugh. Only thing it was samba/metal stylee,)
