Half size racks .not 19"

Some of you may have seen that I've started buying '80s rack gear. Trouble is , I don't know where to get mini racks for them. Something cheap and cheerful to put on my computer desktop. Any ideas? Cheers

Well, being an''80s metal head in the day, I was a bit against it.But listening to industrial stuff like Ministry ,Swamp terrorists etc I realised that if it sounds good then it's a good thing.Remember Paul Hardcastle? Well, since last week, I've won bids on the bay for:Boss RPS -10 pitch shifter delay RDD-10 digital delay RCL-10 compressor limiter Bidding on reverb, and chorus . If I get those , and a rod-10 distortion, that will be it. Then , there's the small matter of finding a mini rack to put them in. Then a power supply. After that, I'll sell my Boss me-50 b / 0db 3/ Zoom b2 1 u up for sale on here..phew!)

Howdy! Having won a bid for a Boss '80s mini rack effect(and bidding on others) , I was wondering how to power 5 effects at the same time. Not sure if you can get 1 power supply that has 5 sockets ,or if there's a box/pedal I may need to get. I know that in the original Boss micro series, there was a small block with 5 sockets. Please advise Cheers

One band who's Bass stood out in the '80s was overkill. Dd verni..very underrated IMHO . Used to like overkill , full on thrash , vocals were erratic tho'. A bit marmite ,) Must say tho' in the mid '80s onwards , the bass got more defined and dear I say trebly,) Production changed I think in a lot of ways.

I use line 7 podfarm via ux1 hardware , into mac mini .

Well , I just won bid on eBay for rps-10 pitch shifter delay. I made a final bid of£80.01at lunchtime. Somebody placed a maximum bid of£80.00 mid afternoon, meaning I win bid by a penny!, Will try to get the others in series, then sell my effects in the coming weeks.

Saw a delay unit on the bay. 6 hours or so to go. I'm the highest bidder . If it goes above £80, which it should , then i won't bid anymore on it.

Would've thought , you'd be better off buying a bass pod instead.

Yeah, I was kinda thinking around£60 each. I already. have effects , but this looks cool. If I got these (delay chorus etc) I'd sell my effects.

discontinued now . Originally made in the 80's? I was wondering if they are /were any good. Has anybody got any here ? I like the fact that they ate compact enough to fit on my desktop, and look uncomplicated to use . (unlike my me8b). On the other side of the coin, I have a line 6 podfarm installed on my mac mini.is it best to forget about boss and stick to that instead? Cheers

Cliff played basic guitar pedals in them days I think,) don't think bass effects picked up until the 80s now there are sooo many,)
