3.
I'm the person who likes Tai Shan... Half the World, on the other hand - tripe.
Yes, that is tripe ,)
 4. Well, as far as the 'Rush bass sound' goes, it's too hard(almost impossible) to decide which is best. Trying to break it down into the decades; 70's - Farewell to kings, 80's- permanent waves/moving pics,-90s counterparts. The bass on Clockwork angels is fantastic. Then you have individual tracks from none of the above. Then you have the producer/studio/amps etc. I will, stop after one more opinion.. Dog years is a terrible song- but is it as bad as Tai Chen (hold your fire)? Must go now ,)
 5.
Not compared to "Dog Years" it isn't. "Dog Years" has to be the worst song ever written by anybody in the entire history of song writing. IMO...... Yes , that song is bad.
6. Some serious tap dancing involved ?
 7.
Is there much of a scene over your way? Were booking up for next year now so we can look into a gig in your area
Twickenham ? No. Kingston maybe. Then there's the m25., but I don't drive ,)
 8. I tried the usual way on my Mac mini , but error messages came up, or nothing moved. The site won't let me do it on ipad. Any ideas? Cheers
 9. 1988 , full bodied Steinberger for sale. This model has the p/j pickups & not the Humbucker pickups usually seen on this model. It had a new 'claw' & new top of the range jack socket made and installed by Graham Noden in Denmark Street. Active.Comes with original ,well worn gigbag and documentation. Excellent condition, bar a surface scratch on back of the neck which cannot be picked up on pics..& does not affect performance. reluctant sale. Looking for £875+pp uk only /possible trade with cash going my way or collection from central London. Cheers
 10.
If you'd been out gigging tonight you wouldn't have seen Sarah Lunds awesome naked bottom - that's as good a reason as I can think of not to join a band.
Well said,)
 11.
Brill. Some people've just got it. Ray, here's what you have to do: Do what your heart tells you to do, and don't let anybody else tell you what to do. Do this right this evening. No delay! BTW, the age argument, if indeed used as an argument for or against something, is nonsense, and you know it. It's just about where and what you wanna be, and by large that is what one needs to listen to. Me, I'm 56. Gave up concerting like 25 years ago, and have only performed a few times since. Now I want out and gig again. If I change my mind tomorrow, then I change my mind. Done! best, bert
Cheers Bert This evening, I've had a great time on my Washburn status. Later, I shall be watching The Killing,)
 12. Glad it went well,) love the death metal stuff
 13. Wow! So many responses,) . Well, it seems that over90% of you think that I should try again. I suppose , the older you get you analyse more, and become more indecisive .(in my case any way); 2010, was my worst year ever . October of that year was my last gig. I still know a lot of people, but over the years , they got married/ moved out. etc. Trying to get people to see me on a sat night was difficult in that sense. Ones you expect to turn up don't and the ones you don't expect do. Playing in front of one man and his dog , was deflating. Finding places to play is getting harder also. On the positive side of things, my playing has improved while recording bits and pieces on my ipad. Trying to do complete songs takes time tho' ,) May sell a few basses, but love noodling on my Washburn status. As far as another hobby , I have no idea what May join a hair (less) metal band next year. Who knows,)
 14. ...I told him I'm too old and fed up with it(soon to be 50) I pointed out the things against age, I don't drive, and location.also usual band politics etc. Then he said ,"you are single ,need to get out more " etc. Apart from possessing good gear, I'm still looking for something to convince me .
 15.
And so you should really useful bit of kit for not a lot of money.
Yeah , me want now ,)
 16.
PM'd
Beaten to it,) I'm gonna get one next week for my ipad.
