1. Thinking of doing one. I just don't seem to be buying new material these days, other than the lates releases from my fave /already established artists. Can anyone here tell me the good , or bad of doing a spotify subscription ? Cheers
2. Stumbled across a Baritone on you tubebin error. I like what I saw. Some of the vid got me thinking it was like ,haf a bass and half a guitar. What are you after trade wise ? Nice bass (err guitar!)
3. How could I have forgotten Rammstein?!? Need a holiday
4. Haven't read all of this topic yet( but I will). A few years ago, I bought an amp on ebay from a seller who said on his listing' just using virtual amps now-so this has to go'. I am thinking of doing the same thing with my Aguilar head &cab as I don't gig anymore. I have a cheap custom 15 watt combo, which gets used occasionally. If I lived in a house and not a flat, I would keep the amp as I would have 'the ideal bass system' for me. (Ie most guitarists seem to have a valvey marshall/ les paul/strat) Then again, I may trade for a small combo, like markbass as it is a 'name' and I would feel naked without a box of somesort
5. Fender cad next, or bounder
6. Nice bass, stupid name(rascal ffs!)
7. Jean michel jarre, classic Tangerine Dream, Rush,Hawkwind, Metallics,Joe Satriani,Tony Macalpine,Slipknot,Motorhead,Blackfoot,Ted Nugent,Orbital, Royksopp,Twisted sister,Scorpions, Testament,Anthrax,Mike Oldfield,Klaus schultze,celtic Frost,iron maiden,ufo,george thorogood,zztop, chickenfoot.
8. Sounds like you should ease up on buying anymore basses. They're being treated like premiership footballers/ managers. 1 minute you have one, then another, then 2 are out the door .. If you like the band(and the material) stick with them. seems like you have enough time/ energy for 2 bands, as you seem restless. You could have upright lessons . Then if you are ready, buy one and sell one or two of your other basses. Other than that, I haven't got a clue
9. It has been refinished, which can lower the price considerably. Also, something else was not original. At least the seller is honest.
10. Sorry to hear it. Not gonna be a Tesco metro is it ?
11.
thats how I read it, just post the soundcloud link and Charic assembles the list later in the month
Cool! Thanks for that. This should be fun
12. Think I wanna participate for the first time. Do i recoord something on souncloud ,and post on here? Sorry if I sound naive

16. You're so vain - carly simon Build me up buttercup-foundations Slither- nirvana ? My girl - Annies song-faith no more Longview- green day Double barrell-dave and ansell collins ?
17. Saw them on iplayer. The lighting was good. 2 songs was enough. Sort of arty pop i guess. Not my bag.
18. They seem good at what they do. However, 2 songs was enough for me on the iplayer. Musical equivalent of Miranda Hart. Supposed to be great, but no substance. I'm not really into folk tho'
19. Aaargh my eyes ! The nobby bass by warwick is equally as bad tho'
20. George michael supplied the toiletries
21. Festivals never interested me,and still don't tbh. Donington&germany monsters of rock a few times was my lot. I think people, on the whole are treated with more respect these days. I find that we were treated like cattle in veal crates for outdoor gigs in general. Anyway, regarding glastonbury. I was a huge Hawkwind fan & purchased the ultra rare(and much talked about)Glastonbury fayre lp. It was a triple lp, complete with spaceship, and various hippy stuff. I was never a hippy tho'. It was realeased in '71? The very first Glastonbury. Bowie was good on it, as were the pink fairies and edgar broughton band. Mh tastes changed over the years, and i sold it
22. George michael , boy george..
