1.
Aren't you part of the band? Shouldn't you be asked? It does not sound like much of a band to me, what with the guitarist and 2 practices in 8 months... Grab the keyboard player and the drummer if is good and run for your lives into a new band! Yeah, time to move on
2. Whoever buys those, won't be enjoying the crack
3. Googled it, and can't find any info on that model no. I"m tired it's late...anyhow, in a band situation you need about 250 watts. Imho. Over to other basschatters ...
4. Just left a comment . Pretty good, chorus a bit like sparks
5. Wow! Have a 'times are hard ' bump
6. Good price bump
7. I have schecter stiletto elite. Awesome sound and feel for a lot less than your max budget. Not selling tho'. Looks metal;) may post pic up later
8. Celtic frost; are you morbid? David Crosby ; long time gone Motley Crüe ; the dirt Rush ; chemistry Glenn Hughes Can't think of any others at the moment.
9.
My First Gig, Manchester Apollo on this Tour......
Cool saw them at the forum . Think it was the F@@king hostile tour or something. Trouble is, I haven't much memory of it.
10. Well, as someone who is the same age as Metallica , slayer etc. I made a few decisions over the years regarding whether they were worth hanging onto. For example, I found a few old posters in the loft a few years back. Ac/dc fly on the wall tour- did I wanna keep looking at a grown man in short trouser? F@@k no! In the bin it went . Slayer reign in blood .. No tour dates , and basically just the album cover.. In the bin. Still have (I think in the loft) a green maiden killers poster. I may stick it in the kitchen. I have just found a Helloween / overkill poster in my wardrobe, due to upheaval, I forgot about it. Think that will now be framed, and put in living room. Looks better than the MOP one to be honest. Shame I haven't dot a Celtic frost one. Pics soon I guess;)
11. Have any of you got any framed? Do you display them in a place other than the bedroom? Have you got any that will be with you forever? Many questions;) it's just that I'm looking at my master of puppets tour poster, and am not sure what to do with it.(apart from the obvious;) it may go altogether. Really want a decent live Rammstein live one tho'. Over to you
12. Great thread this. My only concern , is that the guy does sound a bit like a knob. Never admitting he is wrong. I work with someone like that and wish him dead. On a more cheerful note; !'Brown eyed Girl??' She should chop his fingers off! That is one awful song
13. Have you considered a short scale, or even a headless bass?
14. He'll awaits I guess. Always loved slayer, and thankfully saw them a few times. Btw; for a band as big as them, their website is in dire need of updating. Dave Lombardo gone etc. oh well ..
15.
wa gwan = "what's going on" in patois
I thought it was Geordie
16. The requirements here ,have more holes than the QPR defence. Was it Charles dickens who wrote 'great expectations'? Good luck
17.
Apogee Jam is the interface I use with my IPad. It's not cheap though, about £60, but its much better than something like the iRig. http://www.apogeedigital.com/products/jam.php
Aaah ! Yes , I know now. And I got the irig (
18. Mackie, Allen and Heath ?
19.
I have one of these at home. It means i can leave things set up and i have one feed going in to my PC and one in to my iPad, via a JAM interface. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UB502.aspx
I was thinking of this. Another basschatter has/ had one for sale. Could you elaborate on the jam interface ?
20.
Doesn't the UX1 have two inputs? Get a DI box for your bass. Maplin do a cheap one and plug your bass into the XLR. Will save you unplugging and plugging in all the time. You can then record while playing along to the drums and mix later. Or whatever...
Now that sounds like a good idea . The ux1 has 1 guitar input and 1 xlr input. I did try the line selections for the iPad., but that didn't work . Cheers
21. Nearly sold this...custom xm2
22. Life is too short to be dealing with t@ssers like these! Congratulations for your endurance. Touch of the Matthew Kelly"s here (stars in their eyes) . Moves on;)
