  1. I have the Bugera Veyron, which is probably the cheapest 'powerful' class D on the market. Press the low boost, and high boost buttons, dial in a little bit of the built in compressor, get the mids where you want them, leave everything else around 12 o'clock, and the thing sounds absolutely sublime!
  2. Seen a few of these come up. The spec is ridiculous for the price. Somebody gonna get a bargain!
  3. Never heard of them, but that looks quite nice.
  4. The biggest problem with this for me, is it comes in at around the same price as the Burgera Veyron, which is an absolute monster! Given a choice between that and this, I'd take the Veyron every time.
  5. I honestly can't believe nobody's snapped this up yet.
  6. As I commented on the original thread, absolutely stunning bass. If only I had the funds and was in a position to buy from the UK. ☹️ Glwts
  7. Already stated in the add. It's incredibly loud and incredibly heavy! 😆😆😆
  8. Damn! I'd be all over that if I was in the UK. I could sell that for about £400 here in Bulgaria.
  9. None of the above. I think my first exposure to the bands I liked all came from copied cassettes from friends. I never listened to the radio or watched TOTP. Most of the music they played did nothing for me. I'd say early MTV was the closest to a broadcast I could relate to, specifically Headbangers ball and Aerosmith on heavy rotation.
  10. Wow! Killer cab for nothing.
  11. That's looking absolutely superb!
  12. Same. I honestly couldn't see me ever being in a band with people I didn't already know. I've never auditioned for a band in my life and I can't imagine I ever would. I'm just not at that level professionally or personally where I want to be in a band for the sake of it. Every band I've ever been in (and there's only been 3) has been a bunch of mates hanging out and making a noise together. That's all I've ever wanted out of being in a band.
  13. Thanks. I was hoping they were gonna be in the EU so I could dodge the import fees.
  14. Yup. I'm having the same issues.
  15. Where are they based?
  16. Google's Pete Way. I've never understood why an instrument is suddenly worth ten to twenty times it's actual value because it was once owned by someone famous. I mean, yeah if it's something truly iconic used by an equally iconic star, then it would have some collectability value for museums etc, but some of the prices for a shortly used instrument are insane. I suppose anyone can ask what they want for anything. Whether someone is willing to pay it is another matter entirely.
  17. It looks like a vibratortron 5000. Erm......... So I'm told. 😳
  18. Ah, that kind of lefty. I thought it was going to be another Morrissey diatribe.
  19. Great bit of kit these for that proper 80's rock / metal sound. I had one back in the day and sold it for peanuts when I realised I was never going to bea guitarist. You live and learn.
  20. A grand for a Squier? That's a bargain I can live without. 😆
  21. Yup. As above, it looks like a police siren on a pole to me, so I'm guessing it's part of the lighting for one or more of the songs.
  22. Why does crack converters seem to me like the perfect place to sell his "instruments"?
  23. Just had this pop up on my Facebook feed. The PJ Sunburst looks absolutely stonking in this picture. I generally don't particularly like sunburst, but because it's a wash over the grain rather than a glossy finish, I think it looks superb!
