  1. Congrats on your new bass, I missed out on a red one of these a while back, the build quality looks really good, the neck wear isn’t for me but that’s just personal taste, nice one
  2. Exactly, quite an ignorant statement to make , I could name many reggae bass players that I’d guess a lot of people wouldn’t know, it doesn’t make them ignorant, it’s just something they’ve never looked into or it’s not their genre
  3. Hi, I can’t tell you anything about it but it looks pretty cool to me , im sure someone will be along soon with info
  4. Been on a bit of a Lloyd Parks one lately, great singer and bass player and at sunsplash 82 on his P bass, started learning this today
  5. Not knowing much about him I just listened to Everyday Is Like Sunday, it’s not bad really , maybe a bit like Oasis where just a few songs is enough for me
  6. Different tuners and truss rod cover though
  7. I don’t know much about dean, but is this the same https://ebay.us/m/RBDJqC
  8. Great Bassline I like that one, nice job
  9. I can’t really say I know much morrisey or smith’s but there’s probably a few songs I’d listen to if I went through their stuff, I’ll try to listen to anything once (except Coldplay 😁) Wetherspoons is great if you want cheap and cheerful and they do a decent breakfast, and unlimited coffee , i don’t think I’ve ever rubbished anything here just because it’s not my thing, I actually like to see what other people like, but I do notice that some do , especially when the subject Fender pops up
  10. Looks like they come in at about $8,000 ,
  11. I did cheat a bit with the headshot, it’s a nik Huber
  12. Congrats Lozz, it looks great and I think the relicing is very tasteful
  13. Don does a good comparison here with a few different basses
  14. Deep sadness, I met him once, one of the loveliest people ever RIP , one of my favourite songs
  15. I bought a US jazz off a guy in clacton on sea one Saturday about 7 years ago, and he gave me an old HH VS bassamp and an Ashdown 15 cab he no longer wanted, I think he was moving out of his flat, I’ve still got the amp, a few of the knob’s have a slight crackle but it’s still going and sounds quite good . a few years later an elderly gentleman came round to see my Ashdown mag amp I had advertised, he hadn’t played for years and wanted to get back into it, he bought the amp and I gave him the cab for free
  16. Yeah, I haven’t seen one that low, I don’t think it’ll be there long
  17. I’d say that’s a great deal myself, I’ve been tempted a few times to get one of those but I’ve got quite a few precisions, they look great, I think @wateroftyne had one
  18. Thanks very much for recommending this one, enjoyed giving it a go yesterday, it’s a great Bassline and I used my 71 P with foam under the bridge which sounded right , the intro took me a while and this video helped me with the changes , great cover
  19. I’d guess that too, it’s certainly not on my watchlist
  20. It just popped up on my eBay, it’s up to £510 😳
  21. For me it’s Babylon by Bus - Bob Marley, it’s a live album and Family man’s basslines are just superb, I don’t play it often but when I do it’s quite uplifting, it’s worth a listen if your not familiar with it imo
