1. Bass 2 all the way for me. To my ears, bass 1 was good, but bass 2 was great! Were the strings possibly a bit duller on Bass 1? Awesome playing!!
2.
hi i ve a Roscoe for sale maybe u want to check it out http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=129727 cheers
Thanks mate, it looks like a wonderful Roscoe - love that fretboard. For me it has to be a fivestring though, and I particularly like the SKB model. Good luck with your sale!
3.
GONE
Thought this was gone a long time ago? As a fellow Roscoe player I had serious *want* for this one.
4. Scandinavian Bump! Wish I could get into the action here, but alas my hands are tied at the moment.
5.
tack så mycket! Mattias only ONE left (MK/L42 fans?!) !!!
Perfect score! Thanks a lot David!
6. Hi Tommy, nice to see you on here! Bootzy is a top guy in every way, can't recommend him enough. That Lakie sure is sweet looking, I'm more than half tempted myself.
7. Love the looks of the Contempory J's.
8. Wow, pretty amazing system you have had here guys. Too bad with the coming 18-25 restriction though.
9. Awesome, thanks a lot! Very interesting read and potentially invaluable information. Realize it's asking a lot, but a similar timeline for the Jazz Bass would be really cool as well.
10. Amazing playing and just lovely tone, thanks for sharing. +1 on some more details please. And a big Congratulations of course!

Jazz

The black Fender J-75 is my only jazz today, but a couple of other nice ones have passed through over the years. The Mike Lull neck is one of the nicest ever IMO. Not a great prn shot, but a totally wicked bass that has outlived and outplayed most of the other ones for me. This one I still miss a bit: Great p*rn jazz, no match for the black J-75 though; Amazing player this Sandberg, unfortunately it was stolen from the 2nd owner after me. Miss it. Guess I have to post this as well, this being a porn thread and all... Two really nice players, LPB 62 jap reissue, and a J-73. And finally - not sure if this strictly qualifies as a jazz, but it's easy on the eyes and I actually still own it. For me it makes a perfect companion to the black J-75 above.
12. Lovely looking bass and awesome playing!! I'm normally not crazy about single cuts but this one really works for me. Wonderful lines and amazing top wood!
13. Did you try Strings and Things? They should be able to point you in the right UK-direction for an original guard: http://www.stringsandthings.co.uk/ I'd assume any dealer that carries EBMM would be able to help you out.
14. Wonderful, simply wonderful - congratulations!!
15. Have sold on quite a number of basses over the last couple of years, some that I wish I could have held on to but that's part of the game being a gear who*e. One bass I miss quite a bit though - my Marcus Miller Jazz that was my main player for more than 7 years. Went through a lot with that one, and replacing it with another one just won't work. Sold it way to cheap also, since I needed to fund a bargain priced Jazz-73 that is long gone (and not missed). Oh well...

SOLD

I have its twin sister, an amazing bass in every aspect - sounds stellar, got a playability to die for, incredibly versatile yet easily tweaked. Good luck with the trade norwood-1!
17. How about getting an instrument cable with one of these: http://www.neutrik.com/us/en/audio/204_826...roductlist.aspx Edit: I have one of these myself, and it works like a charm - no pops or squeels when hot changing basses.
18. Thanks for the uploads guys, good stuff.
19. First Bass Owned: Aria Pro II SB-R80 Go To Bass: EBMM 25th anniversary 5HSS My Bass: EBMM Stingray 30th anniversary
20.
Thanks, but not really up for a jazz fiver. The bass is a 2004 I think, but cannot remember for sure. Certainly not much older than this if at all. It has the original hard case included.
Yep, 2004 it is. The colour is Envy Green and was available together with Radiance Red as a Ltd edition in 2004. Wonderful looking bass, I wish I could justify another SR5 - best of luck with the sale!
21. For one of my bands, I definitely absolutely need a fivestring. Never been too keen on this business with D-tuners and alternate tunings, for me it's either EADG or BEADG.
22. Even though I'm partial to EBMM's this one has pretty much blown me away. Plays and sounds every bit as sweet as it looks.
