There must surely be more Roscoes hiding amongst the Basschat family?
Here's mine, got it in a trade with Ville (nobody's prefect) a year and a half ago and am forever grateful to him for that. It's a true joy to play this bass!!

Sounds totally awesome!! Congratulations in advance and good luck on the wait - I've heard it builds character...
Good evening everyone! I would like to invite you to wikiloops.com where the online jam has been started on april 1st. Its free and a bit different than other jamtrack sites or collaboration projects, so if either category is of interest to you, just give it a try. I would feel honoured if one or the other would like to leave a comment on the project, all feedback is very welcome. If you have the gear to do some homerecording, there is a crowd of hungry guitarists out there wanting your bass quite badly, or to put it in other words: Now, its just me asking to support this project, if you decide to do so, there will be many saying thanks :-) so check it out and rip it apart: http://www.wikiloops.com thank you and groovy greetings!
Registered yesterday and checked it out for a while - very cool idea and I really hope it takes off nicely!!

BB3000S replied to Geddys nose's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
I'd be prepared to un-grime a Rick if I got it for 820, someone got a pretty good deal there. -
Does anyone else find this both crap and worrying....?
On the earlier slab boards yes, but not on the later veneer-type boards (i.e., post '62)
Ah, I see - thanks! -
If I could make a neck as good a this one claims to be I would want to stamp my own name on it, not Fenders. He's open in his description, but why not put a date stamp- of 2011 on, and his name? - unless it's intended to deceive?
Agree completely. As for the exactness of the Keller "replicas", to me the truss rod sits too low in the wood - shouldn't it touch the fingerboard? Thus: -
I quite like it, and wrt the headstock - at least the bridge isn't oval.

You won't go wrong with either one, IMO the BDDI is great but the VT is awesome. Have been using a BDDI for a very long time, but since I got a VT Bass the BDDI has not got much playtime. The one feature I sometimes miss (from old BDDI habit) on the VT is the blend knob, but that's a minor thing really as the VT sounds so good.
Also made by Tech 21, same as the SansAmp, is the VT Bass. Also worth a look in, and they tend to sell for around £90 used
+1 The VT Bass replaced the BDDI with ease for me, much more flexible and to me greater tones allround - the BDDI is great but the VT Bass is awesome IMO. Mind, if you require a DI you need to go for the VT Deluxe though.
It's now off back to S&T to see what they are going to do!
There's no luck like bad luck and you've definitely had your share now, right? Fingers crossed you get to enjoy a proper EBMM bliss soon!
Just looked up from the laptop. In the corner of the living room lives my beloved Geddy Lee Jazz and a v nice SX acoustic bass. Upstairs there's an Ibanez GSR and a nicely modded P bass copy. Then there's my Crate practice amp and a Hartke LH500 and a pair of VX115s in the garage, plus a bag with a DI box and a couple of effects pedals. And I'm still looking through the For Sale ads! Is there any cure?
Nothing you can do about it, it's too strong to be denied. Nothing you can do about it, relax enjoy the ride.
Two weeks ago, this bass was listed on Yakaz (whatever that is) as being in Sale, Manchester M33. The wording is also decidedly dicey - I am happy to answer any questions regarding the auction - which implies that the description was lifted from an eBay listing.
Ah, thought it sounded too good to be true. Oh well...

Norwegian Fodera owners: Urgent plea for help
BB3000S replied to Born 2B Mild's topic in General Discussion
Hopefully with a Fodera.....
Fingers crossed, though it would be quite interesting to see and hear him on a Miller jazz, I'm sure it was great! -
Ahemmm. Also, don't hate Vic, he is extraordinary, lives in a time of rampant consumerism, preaches a message of peace, self improvement, doesn't sell many albums in the general sense and as far as I know buys his Foderas. The world would be a smaller place without Vic.
Well said, Victor is a gem. Will see him in Stockholm on Monday! -
Mostly all wide open, may occasionally turn down either PU slightly but very rarely touch the tone.

Chris is an absolute diamond to deal with, crystal clear and timely communication, excellent detailed pics, great packaging. I'm happy to give Chris my very best recommendations and am forever grateful to him for increasing the Scandinavian Jaydee count by one. Thanks mate!
Is there an area of their website or do I have to email them Matt? Also where can I get a Glockenklang pre suitable for a jazz and this pup config?
I emailed them at , you have phone no as well at http://www.delano.de/contact.html. Don't think there's a webshop on their website, but if you look under "dealers" (http://www.delano.de/dealers.html) you will find several webshops if you prefer that - check out UK and Germany and you should be set. Ordering direct was the same price as the dealers (as it should be) when I ordered, but the extra service was very nice since I wanted my PU's wound for a slightly airier top end. The Glockenklang pre can be found for a fair price at Thomann: http://www.thomann.de/gb/glockenklang_2band_electronic.htm They also have the 3-band Glock if you prefer that. In addition, Delano have their own preamps out now, ought to be a nice match to their PU's. One obvious difference is that the Delano pre has the treble set at 6.5 kHz whereas the Glockenklang is set at 18 kHz - as always a matter of taste which is best. But anyway, Glockenklang is what Sandberg used originally if I'm not mistaken, so if you're after the classic Sandberg character I'd recommend the Glock. Good luck!

I got a set of Delano quad coils a while back, and after some research (Sweden did not have a dealer) ended up ordering directly from the source: http://www.delano.de/ You'll find some UK dealers as well there, however, ordering directly works great. The classic Sandberg match would be a Glockenklang pre, works wonderfully with the JM set IMO.
Cheers mate, I've bought some today.
Plus the one! An unreal deal (in a good way) by Swedish price standards.
