There are 7 B stock, new Metro Expresses on Thomann (if looking, don’t forget to add VAT). Add that to the eBay ones and that’s a lot of sub-standard Sadowskys available in the wild. If I were Roger, I’d be pretty p155ed off by that.
The quality control on these early, Chinese Metros seems to be decidedly suspect if the examples in the thread that discusses them are anything to go by (sorry, I don’t have the link).
EDIT: Here it is
Oh, I'm off and running now. Danny Thompson sounding ace on Victoria (she's fretless ). I would have added New York Minute, but Don Henley (or his henchmen) block videos .

More expensive, but a big jump in quality, is the Maruszczyk Jake and there is a used one at The Gallery. OK, full disclosure, this is actually mine on commission sale. https://thebassgallery.com/collections/bass/products/marusczyk-jake-4-l
And fiesta red, all day long; Pino-tastic!
Same riff played fingerstyle, with a pick and slap, in isolation, side by side. Repeat for different types of bass (P, J, ‘Ray, etc). Then the same again, but in a mix. Cover all the basses - pun intended.
