2.
I'm in the middle of East Anglia. Happy to help with setting up and beginner bassics. Don't ask me about soldering iron stuff though.
Same in Portsmouth, Hampshire
3. The guy hasn't been active since 18th of January. I don't think this bass is going anywhere.
4. 432Hz sounds more epic to me. Or maybe 440Hz sounds better? Or maybe I can't hear the difference... I don't know.
5.
Lovely bass Rob! Looks more Fendery than a Fender bass thing in Fullerton Fender Basstown! GLWTS
Haha, it does!
6.
Its a jazz bass, there are no pots on the pickguard. There will be no routing under the pickguard either, that's why I said there would be no point in taking it off as it will take me no further forward. Like I mentioned, visually certainly nothing looks wrong with the pots or wires. Its the silence thats really confusing me. I have never had an issue with a bass where there hasn't been some kind of residual noise.
Exactly. Total silence in that case seems really odd. I would expect some hum or crackle prior to the sound cut off.
7. Very interesting. I also want to hear the reason why.
8. Yes, want to see it.
9. All the best band names came up without thinking - very often by a mistake... Good luck with finding something you all like. Got one for you - Adam Funkadopolis and the Blue Stratos Crew :-)
10. Do you have any more detailed photos? Doubt it... Fantastic looking bass - good luck with the sale.
11.
Location?
Croatia
12. Photos don't work.
13. Great basses. Somebody will be happy :-)
14. Hello, Few years ago Exeter was the starting point to my cycling trip around Cornwall - one of the best thing's I've done in my life. No idea about the Aria but the GAS for P Bass is something everyone suffers from. Even if we have quite a few PBasses, there's always a different color, signature or make or whatever - the excuses to buy one are endless. All the best.
15.
ProSteels are D'Addario's brightest and most corrosion resistant strings. A specialized steel alloy delivers harmonically rich, brilliant high-end coupled with deep, tight lows that work in tandem to create the coveted "Piano tone" steel players crave. Great for both articulate fingering or aggressive picking, ProSteels give you the extra edge and punch you need to cut through the mix. Price includes UK delivery. Could trade for a set of thicker strings - 45-105 or 50-110 (to fit a Precision/Jazz bass). Thank you for looking.
ProSteels are D'Addario's brightest and most corrosion resistant strings. 16. I can't stand the headless look but this one is beautiful! I have drooled a little...
17.
Yes a decent shielding job should cure that
Exactly what I would do.
18. Something from Blues Brothers?
19. Interesting. Has the bridge pick up been added? What does it sound like? I would like to try a fretless but I am scared to start without lines...
20.
Sold .Sold .Sold
Change the title please.
21. I wonder how it smells...
22. As soon as one of my basses sell - I'll be in touch. Beautiful bass.
23.
Just click on the link and you'll find what you need http://basschat.co.uk/user/7835-kiogon/
Thank you! I have tried to find something like that but apparently not hard enough ;-)
