    Which courier company was this sent through? Some would not accept this due to insufficient packaging. Also, as stated above - packaging like that won't work for you if the item gets damaged. Even though it might be better than cardboard in some cases. Personally, I like to wrap the bass In bubble wrap/stretch, put it in the case, wrap the case and put it in cardboard box. Another stretch and then some fragile tape on it. I seem to sleep well after I send a bass like that. I don't think I would if it was only wrapped like yours. Glad it arrived safely :-)

    For sale this lovely JV Squier. Fantastic sound, classic Jazz. I just can't seem to get along with the thin frets on it. While my JV Precision has the same frets and they feel great, on the Jazz I think I prefer the jumbo ones. Basically, brought it to life. I have also installed a KiOgon wiring loom and gave it a nice setup. It now has a standard V/V/T controls with Bourns pots. Black knobs with white lines. The neck has the best aged yellow color I've seen. It's almost orange. There are couple of imperfections on the neck. I can't notice them when I play. The scratches on the body are all pictured. The one at the back is the worst. Don't know how that happened. Plays really nice and I did not think I'd be selling it. But here we go. Could be interested in a trade for nice P Bass with maple fret board. Japanese preferably.

    It looks like the lacquer cracking creates that tiger stripe effect. I have never seen a cracked seafoam lacquer myself. The bridge cover screws have washers underneath - I'd imagine to keep the original screws inside (not lose them) and not damage the lacquer around that area? It looks rad though.

    Bought recently from Rorysmith on here - doesn't fit my JV - seems like the JV neck is a bit wider at the heel than the standard US Jazz that the scratchplate is from. Price includes delivery to UK Thanks

    You can get a MiM precision on gumtree for a lot less than £400. Just need to be patient. On the other hand - there's a lovely MiM classic 50's Precision for £470 listed on here. I would go Japanese though. Best basses I've played in my life were made in Japan.

    Being disrespectful to potential customers is just sad. That would cross him off my list - would definitely not buy from him.
