  1. I’ve had 2 One10s (moved on for financial reasons) and now have a Two10 - not had tolex peel on any of them.
  2. A forum member who makes solderless wiring looms that are dead easy to fit!
  3. I’ve never seen those cabs before - bloody marvellous!
  4. Would a laptop stand suffice? https://www.gear4music.com/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/Adjustable-DJ-Laptop-Stand-by-Gear4music/1MA0?origin=product-ads&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7-DGncnd5AIVStTeCh2fRgNiEAQYBCABEgLzvPD_BwE or https://www.gear4music.com/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/Adjustable-Laptop-Stand-by-Gear4music/WJS?origin=product-ads&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7-DGncnd5AIVStTeCh2fRgNiEAQYASABEgIlGPD_BwE
  5. Nice! Not on quite the same level of cool as this one, but I put one of @KiOgon‘s looms in place of my Hohner Jack’s terrible active circuit - sounds like a new bass! Which reminds me , I need to get another loom for my JV...
  6. Ah, I see he went for the Tony Tiger stripes. Why not, eh?
  7. Very nice! If I had 1500...
  8. I had a pop to see if one of the options involved a nice headstock. Alas, no cookies...
  9. Missing that tweed 😫. But I do have a rather fetching Two10, so all is good 😁
  10. Wow. She’s my new favourite bassist!
  11. I’d hazard a guess that the body is in ply going by the overspray on the contours. If it were me, I’d take a portion of the money you would need to spent on this and instead buy a Harley Benton P- bass. Sorry!
  12. I love the form factor of these - very cool looking! Might be interested in the head if it’s still around on pay day!
  13. I stacked them in portrait and landscape orientation. Damn, now I want 2 One10s again!
  14. I had 2x One10s - quite the surprise to the Soundie in the local! No PA support required, and I only had an Ampeg Pf350 to power them. I only sold them because I was skint, and as soon as I had the dosh I bought a Two10. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have the option of a One10 though - much easier to lug for practicing round someone’s house!
  15. Having to shim a neck to that extent out of the box is something Glarry may wish to address with their CNC machine!
  16. Interesting! You will also need to account for playing position (near the neck/ near the bridge) and method (pick/finger) and variations of those (long nails/short nails). These are so many variables!
  17. I used a bloke who sounds a little bit like Liam Neeson - Music Repair Services in Porthcawl. I’ve heard that there’s a very good amp & guitar tech in Gorseinon, Swansea too - Wyn something. I’ll get his number if you want.
  18. Damn, I just bought two!
  19. There was a great looking TKS cab in the classifieds a while ago. Can’t reme the model number, but looked like a great deal.
  20. That will look really cool with the orange bits in the badges.
  21. @Twigman got in with the Kay first, @Skybone!
  22. Ooh, all the lines! More lines!
  23. 1994 ish, so I was 15. Got given a wrecked Kay P-bass, got it sorted out at a guitar shop, then bought a crackly Carlsbro Scorpion 30w combo. Neither are with us any more! Here’s some internut piccies. Don’t be fooled - that bass looked cool from a distance but it weighed silly amounts and the neck was some weird ply crap!
