You could buy it as a project. Needs a new nut (& strings!). Replace the bridge, pickups, scratchplate, neck, tuners, maybe the body, too.

Is the original covering underneath still? If not, just patch up the orange, spray the grill where the Trace badge used to be and blacken our the red stripes - it’d look prettier to sell for not too much effort.

I think it’s possible to get sucked in to a never ending gear fest, probably spending way more than you need while seeking the best of the best. I’m guilty of the constant search for perfection, but sometimes I wonder if I could have just bought a Rumble 500 and been just as happy!

I’m always drawn to this look. I have a JV in the same clothes. If I had lotto cash, I’d buy up all the ‘57 lookie-likes on basschat.

I don’t like bright colours, so I’d take this over the Elf or the TC equivalent. 300w one appeals to me. I’d assume the USB would be an audio interface for getting bass sounds in to your computer, but would be cool if audio could go the other way too. If it did I suspect it would only come out the headphone output for practicing.

The Rumble 100s look nice. What about the new Ashdown Studio series? Firmly in the Rumble territory but UK based? No experience with either though, sorry.
