  1. I'm looking at selling only people as I don't need another bass at this point. Many thanks for the trade offers though.
  2. It nearly was up last year but I gave it another few months thinking.......the lesson is, don’t think, buy and sell! Cheers Skitzigol.
  3. SOLD Price is now £750 I bought this new a few years ago and tried it for a couple of gigs. It has a tiny mark on the back upper of the top horn. It has since had some recording at home but it seems this scale length isn't for me so it is up for sale. Its the Jazz version Aerodyne with that nice sculptured top in quite a stunning Gun Metal Blue with binding. The neck is very nice to play, well shaped. The fingerboard came with a black laquer on it! I've had that off to reveal the lovely grain that was hidden underneath and refretted with lower profile frets. The neck pocket has a thin shim under it. The second volume pot is now a blend/pan pot which I find much easier to use than two separate blends and it works very well. The Fender case that came with it is included. Any courier/posting can be sorted. I have taken the neck off basses before to courier or I may have an old solid case to use instead of the soft bag. You are welcome to visit and try the bass out in NE Hampshire. might put her up on Ebay real soon..... Thanks for the trade offers people but I'm looking for a straight sale.
  4. Sorry people, I must somehow have TWO posts up and I do not know how that has happened! The ‘other’ post def has Sold on it so I’ll sort this one. Posted using my iPad but I just don’t seem to have the hang of this updated website.
  5. Sold...thanks for asking though..
  6. This looks very similar in style and history to mine so I can say it probably sounds similar, which is very good!
  7. SOLD Price is now £70 A used and brilliant sounding pair of Delano humbuckers model JSBC 4HE. They use 250k pots (not supplied). I've replaced them with another sized Delano set but custom wound so these are up for grabs. (Ignore what the box description shows, they will be posted in this box). Price includes UK postage or....I'm in NE Hants for collection and cuppa....not too far off the A3
  8. Thanks for the update, appreciated.
  9. projeKt WEREWOLF....apparently you ‘reacted’ to this post around 6.15pm but I’m stumped as to where or what you may have said? Please message me...
  10. Yep still available
  11. I've used Ash for many years on fretless to help along the 'attack' of the note whereas my Roscoe Beck Fender fretted bass has an 'aged' Alder body and doesn't quite have the same attack as ash, (great recording bass though). Thanks to Paulhauser's link here is what Roger Sadowsky says and I agree.... Ash: Hands down, the tightest, brightest and punchiest body wood. Alder: Sweeter and warmer, with fuller midrange
  12. My double bass repairer used bore oil, Yamaha have it, it’s used down the bore of wind instruments. I’ve used it ever since on (Macassar) ebony fingerboards. Once a year should do it. Don’t pour it onto the board, dampen a rag with it and spread it, leave for a minute and then wipe off.
  13. Picked this up recently, in great condition as new and in the original box. Very nice chorus with variations and a bit of a different colour to others! Selling it as a recent MXR arrival with tone controls is better suited for my fretless.
  14. MarkBass Traveller is a good cabinet, the larger 2x10 HF is easily heard to be better as the front port helps the low end volume better than the rear ported Traveller. I speak of the 8 ohm cabs only here. I’m not so sure that a 4 or 8 ohm cab can be pushed to the full extent of the full 500 watt amp without distortion occurring.... 2 cabs better than one for full volume.
  15. This Hartke is a recent acquisition but I’m going to go with my also recently arrived MXR deluxe chorus as the MXR has bass and treble eq which I’ve found helps a lot, especially on my fretless but I'll add that the Hartke is a very nice sounding chorus The pedal is in as new condition, runs off 9v battery or mains power (not included), the plus being with using a battery is that Hartke have an easy to access battery compartment, no fiddling with unscrewing the base plate to change batteries at a gig. and so selling at £30 for the Hartke pedal posted in the UK. Thomann website has a few sound examples for this pedal and it sells there at around £59 plus postage on their website.
  16. Great dealings, tidy piec of kit and great comms, cheers dear chap.
  17. Neutrik seem to fit better as well, better contact point due to their 'stouter' circumference over other/cheaper plugs.....and watch out for plugs that look like Neutrik, especially the shiny fakish ones!
