  1. Excellent dealings with Noah for my MB 2x10, all cashed up and delivered within twelve hours, both of us returning from gigs at 1am off the M25, cloak n dagger stuff, all under the watchful cctv eye of MI5! Thanks Noah, brilliant.
  2. Shug has a Roland Cube 100 for sale that might do.
  3. Markbass Ninja 2x10 500 watt combo (into an extension cab), very light weight. There is a 250watt version as well. Green amp to offset the yellow speakers, sort of an acquired taste!
  4. I'm certain some places raise the prices pre 'black friday' to make 'black friday' deals look better. (My friend gave up with one shops' pre black friday price hike and got it cheaper on Amazon anyway).
  5. A good result....my gigging mantra is to check wiring first before assuming the worst.
  6. Looking at the headstock channel, it may be for the truss rod adjustment?
  7. Songofthewind....great cabs, especially coupled up with another and probably ideal for the CMD.
  8. not for a short while....nearer xmas time
  9. Hopefully sold to a singer friend of mine.....another message sent about contacting you Monsieur Tut.
  10. i recently plowed through U.K. customs website pages and I think you’ll be hit with around VAT rate 20% and 3.5% import tax. This is all on how much you have paid out though I’m not so sure about second hand stuff but definitely get a receipt.
  11. Look up Delano pickups from Germany.
  12. I don't know this particular bass guitar but it has two pickups so why not wire a separate output jack for each pickup. At first try soldering the wires of one pickup to its own output jack and leave it hanging off the bass, leaving the other pickup to the existing output jack. If it works to your liking you could then get it screwed/fitted onto the bass properly. Take one pickup output to the guitar amp (maybe the bridge pickup for less 'bass' end helping higher frequencies) and one to the bass amp (neck pickup for a little more natural bass end). You may just permanently damage a pickup by removing a single or more poles.
  13. My first real courier problem from Hermes recently.....'parcel not collected/unsuitable'. I bought a PA amp and the seller was very helpful all along. Parcel WAS collected and a collection sticker applied by the Hermes driver as such, then 'lost' in the system of depots, apparently all because Hermes didn't put the large address sticker on, or possibly because the seller hadn't printed one off but that is for the Hermes agent to rectify at time of collection. Luckily my seller had photographed all details on the box which were used as proof direct to Hermes. Zillions of emails and live chats, (no real person to contact, where IS the number?), threats of ombudsman and police involvement finally led to my parcel being delivered safe and sound. My lesson learnt....get photos whenever possible as proof and make sure everyone stickers the damn thing.....and insure!
  14. I think the DiMarzio I meant are the ‘Ultra’ series and a quick look at their site shows them as Jazz pups so no good for you
  15. ‘Natural scoop’? If you mean mid range scoop there is a DiMarzio pickup that is explained as having mid scoop....can’t remember the model number.
  16. Ah, the old days of putting a flat lollipop stick under the neck end to get the angle!
  17. An excellent package, great amp and speaker combination....good luck with this sale.
  18. Top man Barry....I bought my Warwick, one of the first ones into the country from him, meeting Hans Peter of Warwick into the bargain.
