I’ve never gigged. Was briefly in a band at uni but it turns out to have been an audition as they all made excuses the next week not to meet up with me. Thesedays I have little free time, my wife won’t let me go practice with my friends who are in bands or having lessons (they even have an insulated garage/drum room, and I have far too much anxiety to seriously consider looking for a band.

They're his family, you're not. He should either have a) not had them come or b) put up a better fight. *Note - I'm largely pacifist and would also be in shock, but you lot did nothing to start the fight, why are you responsible for his family's wellbeing - does he pay you protection money?!

He's a bona fide legend and good egg. That house sale was well over a million wasn't it? And this lot will probably clear that much if the collectors get competitive. I imagine he'll still have a few dozen to play at home. Listening to my Dad's copy of Dark Side of the Moon on vinyl was the reason I asked for, and got, a guitar on my 18th Birthday.

6 and two 3s. Some stuff was pre-announced that I am tres excited about: 6 string Combustions from Dingwall. Am liking the Source Audio pedal stuff, but yeah a lot of other things that were just different colour/hardware combos (Fender), some meh stuff (Gibson), and some 'how much?!' from EBMM. On the amp side though: the Bergantino Forte HP and the Darkglass new amps look very nice (obvs prohibitively pricey.)

Nice - can't see pricing though. Hmm. Am prepared to be disheartened!
