I’ll give the NS Design NXT the thumbs up. I bought a 2nd hand one partly for its pedigree and thinking if I don’t get on with it I’d get my money back. There are a lot of highly respected endorsees out there. So far it’s proving to be a success.
It looks like that’s been made very playable. Did the bridge cost more than the guitar did originally. I’ll double the previous offer and collect to save you having to pack it 😆
It depends what you mean by ground breaking. The Gibson EB2/Epiphone Rivoli changed the sound of pop music - the British Invasion, the Rickenbacker clank, an Alembic - active electronics.
I remember a maker (possibly Wilkinson) putting a metal plate near the top of a Fretless fingerboard to enable slap on Fretless. But as NickA says it’s so not NOW.
Never seen those before, very nice. The sunburst appears to be unlined and the black lined, was that the way they always come or were either neck available on both colours?
My JC s actually a Peerless, but same thing. La Bella Deep Talking Flats. It has to be something without silks at the ball end because of the 3 point bridge.
Did just have a sneaky peak on that Auction site, there a rather a lot at BIN in the price range mentioned. As there are quite a few, may be they’re not selling.
A colourful rug on stage seems popular at present, but one needs to keep standards up, so remain standing or get a quality bar stool (a la Dean Martin). There is always a risk that you might fall off!
Thanks #Henrythe8, they are very underrated, I just don’t think most bassists haven’t heard of them or tried them. I don’t think they were widely available in the U.K. I imported this one from Italy.
