    Before you start check the neck is ok. My only experience of an Affinity was a friend’s, he brought to me with a ski jump neck needing help. Totally failed with it, the truss rod was broken. 👎 Seriously not impressed by that range.

    I had a disastrous experience of them a while ago trying to send my granddaughter’s present to the USA. It never got there and then months later I get a returned parcel on the doorstep. It wasn’t mine but Christmas presents for a girl in Florida, my family lives in California! I’d never trust them again.

    I’m with EAD on this one. I’m sure they play beautifully, they should for the money, but I find them a bit mwah.

    I suppose if you want a really small body then the steinberger cricket bat headless or the more recent spirit bass are the ones for you.

    I felt much the same about the Hofner violin bass which also had the strings too close together. Replaced it with the Peerless Bassmaster Player which is the same as a Jack Cassidy which Peerless made til manufacture was moved to China.
