  1. They do need flats IMHO. The only thing I am nepot so keen on is the depth of the neck, I’d prefer it a bit thinner.
  2. Goodbye-ee. Peter Cook & Dudley Moore
  3. Sky fall - Kyle Eastwood (& probably others too)
  4. Itchycoo park - Small Faces
  5. Saturday nights the night for fighting - Sir E J
  6. There must be something out there which suits and is affordable. Do not despair, just keep looking.
  7. Good luck with the project. I seem to recall G & L doing a similar pickup configuration.
  8. Stop, in the name of love - Supremes
  9. One out one in - Spector Spectorcore traded for Fender Precision. Rather boring but trying not to increase numbers.
  10. Sitting on top of the world- The Mississippi Sheiks
  11. They are remarkably versatile for a single pickup bass, this is definitely worth buying.
  12. Black is black - Los Lobos
  13. F blues jam with Kyle Eastwood & Jino, 2 basses at once!
  14. Only you - The Platters
  15. I like it but Gibson won’t, even though they haven’t produced one like it since forever. Whatever happened to the Mid-what’s it?
  16. Fab!
  17. We built this city on rock n roll - Starship
  18. The price of those on Reverb are a bit of a bargain when you look at the list prices. I wonder which factory in S. Korea makes them, my experience on basses made in that country ( Spector and Peerless) is that they are of excellent quality.
  19. Spirit in the Sky - Norman Greenbaum
  20. It’s an auction and whether it is on line or a live one people get carried away with bidding so sometimes overpay.
  21. Great basses, presumably this will be one of those made by Peerless in Korea? The quality of their instruments is superb, my JC is one sold under their own name.
  22. 17mm is getting a bit close, it was the string spacing put me off an Ibanez when I bought my last 5 string, I was replacing a Jazz V and was happy with a bit more space. I’m not sure I’m ready for multi scale yet, but never say never.
  23. They are certainly a bit different. The fanned fretboard in your photo makes it look like a twisted neck ( which I’m sure it isn’t ) just a weird optical illusion. Enjoy it, it’s a bold move, one day we may all be playing something similar.
  24. Chas Chandler - Gibson EB2 / Epiphone Rivoli. (Not so impressed when I finally bought one but given current resale prices, wish I’d kept it)
