Pedal Board Blues

I've got the same issue with both electric and bass guitar. I think the sound from amp is affected by accoustics of the room, whilst headphones are direct into ear.
2. Shuttke max sounds sharper to me. I mean more highs.

Warren Huart

Does anyone follow Warren Huart on You Tube? I watch some of his tutorials but me not being consistent, it's difficult to learn mixing and mastering songs.

5.
1 - Iron Maiden - Live after Death Next chapter: "Dad, what bass should I buy?"
Live After Death album was what influenced me to start playing a bass. I remember listening to it on vinyl and looking at the pictures within the cover. I'm biased so I'd suggest a p bass.or Steve Harris signature p bass😉
6. What pick ups has it got?
7. That sticky ricky sounds pretty... what's the word that rhymes?
8. I bought a Ds1 recently for a hard core £7 in mint condition.
9. Osteopath sessions and regular exercise including core body exercises may reduce the back pain.
10. People like that are total waste of space. Daydreamers!
11.
Mmmmm I think that's the point. I do not know how old you are but I am sixty and alongside all the "artists" That we all know and love...Beatles ,Stones ,led zeppelin...erm ...Maiden , er ...oh I don't know ..whomever you think is cool (groovy baby!) there has always been "pop" acts... that have been contrived to "make money". Indeed all the great acts "made money" when they could...it's what made the world go around. I have a friend who was a part of the original Black lace ..Agadoo and all that pap....He is a brilliant guitarist and musician that made a lot of people happy with his " pop"music .... You don't have to like it ...but hey ...somebody does...and that's the whole point of music...well I think so anyway. Enjoy your career...I have enjoyed mine and I genuinely wish you well.
I was around during 80s and probably the artists worked harder than they do nowadays. I see your point though.
12.
That nowadays money-grabbing music industry, eh? It's such a recent phenomenon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BKt07B3A6U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdSmokR0Enk ...etc.
Milly vanily wasn't quite an artist...
13. I'm a Maiden fan but always liked Level 42. The music and singing is spot on. Something a modern pop band nowadays struggle in the nowadays money grabbing music industry.
14. How about some opera? https://youtu.be/t5jaRipA5_M
15. Following the recent thread about stolen gear from a venue what security measures have been taken to stop this happening at bass bash?. Surelylanyards will be worn by attendees...
16.
What are your guitarists doing with regards to matching the guitar sounds on the songs you are playing?
I own a Fender mustang which came with Fender Fuse software. The amp has many presets and when connected to laptop yiu can tweak the sound. Yiu can also download presets from community. I found a sound which I tweaked and it is very close to Somewhere in Time IM tone. There are thousands of variations. I'm still experimenting with Amplitube 4.
17. Agreed. I'm lucky to own one. It's a beauty.
18. Agreed just wasted 15 seconds of my life whilst drinking morning coffee
19. Rotos all day long for me. Flats on p bass, round on jazz bass.
20. I bought pick ups from Irongear for my project. I haven't tested them yet but I will let you know when I do.
21.
Erm - it works! I'm not really an expert on routers - this one has done everything I've asked it to though. I think especaillay using the brushing guide you need bits with longish shanks - but that might be a common problem/issue I think that the depth lock sometimes vibrates slightly loose. I've no complaints.... except if I were in a position to ask again I would ask folk who know more if I would be better with something that does a 1/2inch shank cos it was a question I was asking when I was looking for bits.
Cheers mate. I suppose it is the quality of cutting bits that matters.
22. I see you're working with Bosh 1400 ace router. I'm thinking of getting one. How do you find it?
