  1. I played a triangle during Christmas nativity at age 6 and 7 , I was told I had a good sense of rhythm. ....
  2. I returned to bass playing around 2010 and ever since I wanted to play in a band again, but I can't think of anything worse than gigging late night packing up worrying about parking close to the venue, having my gear stolen etc. When the first covid restrictions were lifted I went to a pub gig and watched the band packing, they seemed to pack their own gear. Maybe it was their arrangement. If it was me gigging , I'd get a lightweight cab, and me gone before the singer says thank you to punters.
  3. I'm disappointed you not posting no police grammar vehicle.
  4. It's just like any modern music played on radio. That's why I listen to Planet Rock.
  5. You can join us in the next month in April composition challenge
  6. I quit a band before, the same band twice, but they wanted me back
  7. It's not a fish , it's an instrument..
  8. That's correct I also used their You Tube, demos initially. I have tried different free versions of DAW but couldn't get on with them.
  9. The simple explanation I can offer is that you can do a research on You Tube (some good some misleading tutorials). I started recording when I joined BC and since I've learnt a tiny if information. Before you buy anything make sure your PC, laptop, I pad or whatever you use, the operating system is compatible with the audio interface. What I did, a basic starting point.: I bought an audio interface " Focusrite Scarlett 2i2". It has two inputs. This came with a free DAW, Ableton live. Most interfaces you buy will come with a free DAW. You plug the Focusrite Scarlett to your PC via USB, use the instructions to download package and set it up. ( It comes with a code etc). Next step is to download your DAW to your PC/ laptop or whatever you use , then when you open the DAW you set up the preferences, audio in/out. I found the set up the most frustrating part but there are plenty of tutorial videos online. Once it's all set up and your audio interface is connected . You plug an instrument into the interface audio and begin a new frustrating process of learning how to record etc. You will get there eventually.

    Evri

Another moronic delivery by Evri. about two weeks ago they lobbed a heavy item over the fence that landed on concrete patio. Luckily only bent the two brackets that that attach to the rack.
  11. What if it comes with a nice 7 figure bonus?
  12. This, 100% agreed.
  13. Bought Ampeg mini amp from Stevie. Despite the neverending motorway delays , the parcel was delivered. Great communication from the start, parcel safely protected.
  14. Three network- what a pile of shite! Never used to get a decent signal. Skype- was atrocious, the calls constantly froze Anything that has tarragon in it, disgusting herb, I'd rather eat a jar of marmite. Old people's clothes, I will never dress that way.
  15. Ok , you need a tuner, wah pedal, volume pedal, tube screamer, distortion, equaliser, then flanger, phaser, chorus, digital delay, reverb and noise supressor. Plug this end into a Marshall at least 100 w and you're good to go. This is what i do, power chords.
  16. I can see a little future modification if I collected it, LED strip lights in the gap...niiiice
  17. I've used lite with 8 tracks for years. Standard has unlimited tracks and other options available , but if you're just starting out you may prefer a different DAW as Ableton is mostly for electronic music, although I use it for everything.
  18. I have upgraded to Ableton Live standard after many years of using the lite version that only gave me 8 tracks. The only downside of Ableton is that it tends to crash, but you can always recover when it unexpectedly shuts down. I recorded heavy guitar rigs, live drums and works fine paired with Focusrite Scarlett.
  19. The rack effect is a American vertin Aphex Aural exciter powered from 110v supply. So I don't know how it would benefit if I check my current amps fx outputs? Unless I misread what you meant.
  20. Don't get me even started! 😁
  21. I use two amps , one is set to get vintage ,nasally sound no pedals. The other has more treble and a bit of gain, compressor, eq and a touch of presence. I play these together to get the sound I'm after. This is noticeable when both are miced and play through headphones or listen back in DAW.
  22. Cheers, It says at the back of the unit AC 9 w
