  1. How much? 😀 Nice kit, only kidding though
  2. Drums, then expanding the kit with more toms and cymbals, rarely play it and it's just a massive obstacle in the music room.
  3. Steve Harris and his manager Rod had a simple solution to band member problems. Sack and replace, although some decisions may have been a tad unfair.
  4. The flats on my unknown Japanese brand jazz bass are over 40 years old, have no intentions to replace.
  5. I have a Korean 90's built Epi gold top but have yet to research which factory it was built in.
  6. If you compared the two and played blindfolded you wouldn't notice much difference, in fact it may be better by a fraction, but maybe. I'd rather buy a nice Marshall combo and save the rest of cash
  7. Nice guitar, I have an Epiphone Goldtop and would never want a proper one unless I have discretionary income
  8. Strat with rail pickups Floyd Rose and lock nut for anything you want to play Tele for noodling and Epiphone Goldtop Korean made (just as good as Gibson) for any riffs from AC/DC to rock and roll to HM. And a cheap Jackson dinky for trash and heavy stuff. And bitsa guitars with upgraded pickups for fun
  9. Foo Fighters last night at London Stadium. I am , perhaps being harsh, could be partially because I watch and listen out for individual instruments. Great show, played the favourite songs, very crowd pleasing, heavy riffs, but there were parts that musically did not make sense, fillers, extra bits added here and there. I was surrounded by alcohol fuelled punters, well I had a few myself 🥳 Overall, I had a great time.
  10. Foo Fighters, pure coincidence. I watched 'Rock Now' on TV this Tuesday, they played 45 mins of Foo Fighters songs. Then I checked on Google if they tour currently which they do. Bought two tickets on Wednesday for the next week London show. Happy days
  11. Did he advertise it as "like new" , many people do, "mint condition" , "never used" . At least fooking dust the thing off before you sell it....hate those type of sellers...
  12. That makes sense , wish we lived in 80s when these were available in some high street shops.
  13. Mine is 16mm by 20 mm, but looks like room to fit a 25 mm. £9.99 handling charge ,comes to nearly 14 quid 🤣
  14. The plastic sleeve makes it harder to search, would a 49uf 400 volt work. Like this one.
  15. Yep, it's 47 uF C003 400v, for Nichicon ZSSR706HA power board , but is it? Could be 37 uf.
  16. Sold out ,I'm afraid and more expensive on eBay, it's the price of a second hand ps 1
  17. Can someone identify this capacitor. It's on a PS1 power board. The top looks a bit bulge so I think need replacing . The power board fuse keeps blowing everytine I plug in the power supply. I think I may try to replace the capacitor once I have the correct one. Picture of capacitor and fuse space . Thank you
  18. Collection only,😭
  19. Last year I bought a feat factory vinyl, fh it's some heavy tunes in there.
  20. This , every time I play along in a dropped D to a song or two it's followed by standard e tuning. Easier to get a cheap 5 er
  21. He plays a six string on the Sad But True during Freddie Mercury tribute at Wembley in 92. The song is in dropped D tuning. David Ellefson plays a five stringer but not sure what songs he uses them for. Maybe some death metal songs, there are BC members who post metal playing ( usually plays heavy stuff) in show us your playing video? Maybe they could advice, they post some great skills @SaimoN and @WHUFC BASS
  22. The outro of Two Minutes to Midnight by Iron Maiden. I've been playing the bass line almost like for like for years , but never actually took time to learn the outro part properly, just improvise it each time I play it.
  23. Enter Sandman, pretty easy not a lot to learn
  24. I played a triangle during Christmas nativity at age 6 and 7 , I was told I had a good sense of rhythm. ....
