I've had the HA3500 and the LH500
They sound a little different - but the LH500 is just a great reliable simple amp. It has massive headroom so you may well need a compressor to tame the peaks a bit - but you've got a Spectracomp so all is good!

Cheers!

Hey Fella, hope you are well, glad to see you've still got the Steve harris Sig Bass.
Yes they'll work together just fine.
That amp will put between 300-350w into the 8ohm cab. So no concerns.

Hey Lewis
I'm well thanks. Bass is never going to leave, I was like a 5 year old at Christmas when I got it..
Those Hartke amps and cabs seem to he a bargain at £360 for the rig.
I'm between lh500 more power or ha2500 with graphic equaliser. But like the simplicity of lh 500. I could always use my hartke pedal and tc spectracomp.
Hope you're well and business going well too.

Oh yes!

Like these simple answers. I'm really GAS ing fir it. £360 for the lot sounds like a bargain to me.
Since PMT does price drop on their gear I am Gasing to get and pair the following two.
Hartke VX410, Power Handling: 400 watts @ 8 ohms
With
Hartke LH500, 500 watts of power @ 4 ohms
Can I match these two and would will be the wattage?

I'd say out of the sale, the LH500 is a steal!
They make solid bass gear IMO...and the LH500 is a great amp. I used one for backline for a small your and it sounded great.

Do you think that if paired up with Hartke vx410 it would make a good rig?

10 Years and we still don't know what the best bass for metal is...

P bass- Steve Harris
Rickenbaker - Lemmy, Cliff Burton
Jackson- Megadeath
ESP- Tom Araya, Jason Newsted
Sadowsky-Jason Newsted
Yamaha- Billy Sheehan
Pick one, I know which one is the best😊

Utter bell. You almost expect it at gigs but in your home... I'd complain to the utilities company.

I might take you up on that..! Once my ops and stuff are over (end of month or so, with any luck..?), I could lift the curtain on the days and nights of a retired sedentary armchair ex-musician with time on his hands and a barrow-load of projects 'on the go' at any one time. Be afraid; be very afraid.

Well, I hope you get well soon . I'll drink to that tonight.

Nor do I, I'm ashamed to say; nor do I..!

Modesty. Perhaps you could start a thread on mixing, mastering, eq ing, compressing etc. So we can learn from master Dad.😊
