1. Voted! Must join in next month!
 2.
The criteria for attribution of your vote are entirely up to you. There is no 'Skol Force' about to swoop down on those deigning to ignore the suggestions, despite all his bravado and bluster. Do as you think best, decide how you wish, invoke the hidden Punk in you, and be satisfied that you've made at least someone happier. 'Does it fit the picture..?' was the original notion, but we've come a long way down the anarchy trail since then (sic Lenny. and a few other rebels..). Feel free, old chum; feel free...
Ha ha. Don't worry my friend. It'll be a fair vote 😉
 3. I'm really struggling to vote. Every song has something unique about them. Would it be fair to say I'll give my vote to the three that received lesser votes?
 4. I'd love one. Would suit my composing needs. When you get one let us know how yoi get on.
 5.
At least you were able to correct yourself. Unlike Van Halen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mjx_GjyXCs4
It's like cat mating season..
 6. Cheers boys and girls
 7.
Top of my list would probably be one of the new Fender Rumbles. They are cheap, loud and very light. I'm sure you could get a 500 watt one for £350 secondhand. I played through the 100 watt version and it kept up with a drumkit pretty well. I'm sure there are many satisfied Rumble owners on Basschat, who will agree.
I agree. I tested my 100w Rumble at home on half volume and it was far too loud for my hearing. I don't gig so can't comment whether it would keep up with rest of band.
 8. Based in Kent.I got back into bass playing 6 years ago after a 17 year break. I like classic metal and rock music favourite being Iron Maiden. Grew up listening to other bands such as Metallica, Anthrax , Nirvana ,AC DC and some 80' rock and pop. List is not exhaustive though. Also like Foo Fighters, Rancid, RATM but sometimes listen to Police, Queen and other big names. I play finger style but opened to play with a pick if need be. I don't slap but can a few riffs. I record, mix and master my own songs therefore I play guitar too. Own my own equipment and transport. My bass cab is only 100w but if things turn out to be feasible I am capable of getting gigging bass gear. My only downside is that I work shifts so get 2 weekends off back to back every 4th week. Lastly I'm in my early 40s and not bad looking 😁 Looking forward to hearing from anyone who's interested. My you tube link https://youtu.be/aS5zCMrmBIY I've got my own material and wouldn't want to be stuck playing covers only.
 9.
Yes! Tate! Exactly what I was thinking!! Bang on Are you planning to expand on the theme? Add more sections etc?
The nuclear explosion and post apocalyptic effects were purely for the challenge aspect.I'd leave the accoustic intro and add a riff or two, depending on the lyrics (unwrittem). I just have this idea of forming my own band and gig. It's a hard business to be in.
 10.
I'd put it in the 'Power Rock' category rather than metal. There's some rock influences in there for sure. Early Def Leppard, a bit of Harris-esque bass and atmosphere from Malmsteen. I can just hear some high pitched soaring vocals in there and you'll be set.
I'm thinking Geoff Tate and Mike Patton. I know Def Leppard but don't lusten to them. Thank you for your opinion really appreciate it. Hoping to get more views on the song.
 11.
My server is not liking the link Please try again
New link added

 13. https://soundcloud.com/user-527099495/inverse-evolution-master-bcjazz I composed this song for April composition challange but can't decide what metal category it suits? Any metal enthusiastic could shed their opinions on this? Thanks
 14.
good luck I thank the universe that I played in bands, otherwise my life would have been for nothing
I sense a tiny bit of sarcasm there☺
