  1. One of my fretlesses : 15 mm from string to string at the bridge, 9 mm at the nut, one piece hard rock canadian maple neckthrough with Para rosewood (Dalbergia Spruceana) fretboard, bubinga wings, 2 Bartolini's Quad Coils wired in parallel and passive with volume, balance and tone. It's a 31 positions unlined fretless 6 strings bass, so you can even do some Michael Manring with it. So what's that for ? The rarest LEDUC : the MP 631 SF (MP for Masterpiece).
  2. Yes, he is one of the 365 children he has. Thanks to his father he fell in love with classical jazz music and the bass instruments when he was a child, going to lots and lots of concerts with his dad. He learned bass and double bass with Bunny Brunel, a friend of Clint.
  3. Seen him twice : terrific fretless bass player, terrific fretted bass player, terrific double bass player, terrific musician. But you have to like more classical jazz. My wife and I really love the music he is making. "Time Pieces" is my favourite album to date.
  4. Enjoy (action is a bit more than 1.5 mm at 12th position under the C string to a bit more than 2 mm at 12th position under the B string) :
  5. Don't look any further, I've got what you need : 15 mm from string to string at the bridge, 9 mm at the nut, hard rock canadian maple neckthrough with Para rosewood (Dalbergia Spruceana) fretboard, bubinga wings, 2 Bartolini's Quad Coils wired in parallel and passive with volume, balance, tone. It's a 31 positions unlined fretless 6 strings bass, so you can even do some Michael Manring with it. So what's that for ? The rarest Leduc : the MP 631 SF (MP for Masterpiece). Do you want to see it ?
  6. Isn't it a nazi username ? Gott mit mir...
  7. . Time to clear some stuff again as I really don't use my fivers !!! So for sale or trade for a 6 stings bass ONLY : WOOD & TRONICS Zoid 5 (to me their best design), naturally reliced : some pay huge amounts for this by 7ender, here it's free ! Early hollowed model à la Fodera, totally hand made (look at the lid), with that sweet and detailed sound typical from that period. Lots of wear and a few dings for this player, but don't be afraid, everything is working fine without any electronics scratches (except the usual Aguilar crack when switching the mids) and no hidden issues... The price asked reflects that condition. This bass used to belong to Mustapha Bouchou, an early W&T endorser, and was originally tuned from B to G, look at the D'Addario balls colour. Here a link to the TalkBass page : https://www.talkbass.com/threads/wood-tronics-club.714907/page-18#post-11960214 And D'Addario bass balls colour code : And before anyone asked, I never got the ramp. Shipping included to your place in these European countries : Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (excluding French overseas departments and territories), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Parcel shipped in ultra well protected box will be fully insured with tracking number. Asking price : £1550 GBP or €1800 Euros !!! A new one would cost you twice the asking price if you order it today with the same specifications. PayPal payment (Friend payment or fee covered), bank transfer (IBAN and BIC codes provided, so no fee) or cash on collection. In fully working condition, with some 11 years of use, but no abuse. Here are the specifications tuned from E to C (the action could vary slightly when tuned from B to G) : Scale : 34 inches. Strings spacing at nut : 10 mm Strings spacing at bridge : 19 mm Action : 2 mm under the E string at 12th fret Strings : Fodera Nickel E-C (almost new) Tuners : gold Hipshot Licensed Bridge : gold Wood & Tronics (ETS) original in two parts Pickups : Nordstrand DC 5 with switch (chrome) working for the both pickups together in parallel / single coil / series (so you have no strange sounds when blending them) Electronics : Aguilar OBP-3 with volume, balance, bass, mid with one switch (chrome) for the 400 / 800 Hz, treble and gold knobs (the output jack is chrome and not gold as the pictures seem to show) Neck : 3 pieces maple through neck Fretboard : rosewood with 24 mandolin frets in perfect condition Dots : brass on the side and abalone on the fretboard Nut : brass Trussrod : one (real Fodera) Body : alder wings with quilted maple top (and magnetic electronics lid) Headstock : 3 + 2 with matched quilted maple top Land of craftsmanship : Italy (2007) Weight : 3.8 kilograms (very very light as it's hollowed) Will come with a period unbranded hard case (not fake snake skin here). Non smoking environment as usual. The bass has been fully set up professionally by Christophe LEDUC (the nut can accomodate E to C as well as B to G tuning without any modification), the trussrod is fully working and the bass has a new battery as well as almost new Fodera Nickel E-C strings (34 - 45 - 65 - 85 -105). What you see is what you get ! Look at the pictures to see the real condition, the wear and dents. Absolutely no real damage, only wear of time and playing. Don't hesitate to ask for more. Link : http://www.wtbasses.net/zoidModelsAndCustom.php Here a video by Enrico Pasini himself to give you an idea of how a Zoid 5 can sound : And another one, made by Arnaud MORIN (ebony fretboard and different pickups, but the "sound" of the Zoid 5 is there) : Dust is offered. Now the real pictures : look at the woods and wear !
  8. These two basses are interesting : https://www.bassic.de/kleinanzeigen/olp-mm2-stingray-bass-und-ibanez-srx-750.13368/
  9. I know, but it was originally posted to show some non Fender designs that are not splodgy... So now a bit out of context. The last one is mine and is a Stradi (www.stradi.pl), a really ergonomic design.
  10. I don't think you'll interest people selling an unknown IbaBez guitar brand. Take a look at your advert title...
  11. Which would have the size of a truck trailer to go down to 11 Hz.
  12. The flatter the radius, the easiest the bending and tapping is. Otherwise you'll have to raise the action to be able to bend more than a tone after the 12th fret, which, by the way, only guitarist do. I think you are going in the wrong direction as the radius is only the smallest part of the equation. Simply go by a real luthier and have your bass perfectly set up, which means first a perfect differential fret dressing under simulated strings tension to be able to lower the action almost close to the frets themselves, but only few luthiers know what this is and how to do it... And you certainly better carefully choose first your strings gauge, which means low for what you want to do, and stuck to it. After that, the luthier will adjust the bass to your parameters and the magic will happen.
  13. Just use the BC loading tool. Fast and easy. Sei basses are terrific, by the way.
  14. This amp might also be on your "to try" list : https://www.darkglass.com/microtubes-900/
  15. You mentioned Fender designs basses as the standard, these basses except the Zeta don't take the Fender path. The Klein being even totally ergonomically thought... I've always found the Fender designs ugly, but he opened the paved straight road, hélas.
  16. It'll make 8.6 mm to be precise. But you have to leave at least 1.5 mm on each side, so we'll end up with 8 mm strings spacing at nut which should be manageable.
  17. Surely a flower power child to build flower pot basses.
  18. If only I hadn't got your Warrior DM7 !! I wouldn't be looking at this beautiful fretless...
