  1. I love my Shuker, as I'm sure you will love yours too. Worth any wait.
  2. I love my Thumb bolt-on. I wanted a Warwick for years before I could afford one and it's a keeper.
  3. Hello. Something I've noticed is that my Android default browser and Android Chrome browser default to the mobile version of this site, but my Android Firefox browser does not. do you need to add another browser agent to the mobile redirection?
  4. Drink wine and provide my own more Terry Wigan-esque commentary. Fun night had.
  5. Thoroughly good they are too! Nice meeting you on Saturday.

    Cort Curbow 4

I had the previous Tanglewood Curbow 4. Gigged and recorded with it and it was a great sounding and playing bass. Best played on the strap as it doesn't sit nicely. Lovely narrow fast neck. Only moved it on because I got the opportunity to buy a Warwick Thumb BO new at the best price I've seen yet.
  7. I was there on the Saturday but unfortunately missed all the BassChat socials, sorry. Will make amends by attending the next Bass Bash.
  8. Have liked all Deftones albums to date. New one is very good from the off.
  9. I've used Musofinder with success in the past but people seem to have moved on to other sites. Postcards in rehearsal studios are still a great was of advertising.
  10. I'm due to start doing this this year. really looking forward to it!
  11. Hartke used to do a 2x12". In fact I'm selling mine as we speak - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321026236881
  12. This amp has me GASing. Can't believe that TC Electronic gear this good is within the price of mere mortals?!?
  13. I use an X3 Live into a W-Audio 1U digital power amp and it's a great setup that at the moment I set and forget, but if my tastes change in future I've got an arsenal of amps and sounds to choose from. Definitely recommended.
  14. Good to see you've taken the plunge. Anything to do with my cajoling at The Crown gig?
  15. Cool! Great to see Warwick officially represented on this forum. Always had Rock Star service from Warwick when I've emailed them directly with questions in the past about my Thumb bolt-on. Welcome!

    POD X3 LIVE

The HD got 1 bass amp in the last firmware upgrade. Hardly reason enough for me to shop in my X3 Live, which still gets 100% of my time and attention.
  18. I was so sold on the ideas behind fanned frets (and the look) I for them on my custom bass. Went a little more conservative than I hear are the scales on a Dingwall but haven't regretted it for a second. Would love to try a Dingwall one day, but keeping my regular fretted instruments too.
  19. Cracking bass for a giveaway price! Can't believe this hasn't shifted yet!
  20. Oh, and I've played the 12 Bar before too - standing in front of the drums I just about had enough room to get my heels on the stage. If I leant forward I'd have fallen into the crowd. Poking through the 1st floor at shoulder height was bizarre!??!
  21. This is what I'm dreading a bit with my 80s band as the keyboard player's setup is huge! Fortunately I can slim down to just a bass and line 6 pedal if necessary. Still think we'll struggle with a lot of venues...
  22. Hello Everybody, My 80's cover/tribute band have our first proper gig tonight at The Railway Bell, South Woodford this evening. Come along and have a listen if you're free. 23. I find any change/addition to a practice routine can open up your playing and expand your horizons. I found the same when I started to learn to read music. Unfortunately I had to prioritise learning songs for the band, but intend to go back to learning to read in the coming weeks.
