1.
They have been in contact with us and are keen to improve their standing and reputation with Basschatters. I hope your positive post is a step in the right direction. Has anyone else had a positive experience there? ped
Interesting, hopefully that's the case, this thread being the first result when you google their name!
2. if that was a bit closer....
3. great collection there! i really like that alembic copy, lovely top on that
4. awesome stick a black thumbrest on there too
5. Yeah i totally know what you mean, i've gone from 5 basses down to just 2 in a few months and have bought and sold about 3 others just in the last year alone, and now i'm changing my amp up a bit, new head and maybe cabs etc, my rig is always changing!
6. £100? f***.... might get back to you! willing to post?
7. sold him my musicman SUB bass, very easy transaction, even when i messed him about with the whole *should i, shouldn't i?" sellers remorse type thing! very nice guy!

12. i don't have a lawn either
13. sweet collection there
14. haha, if you go onto the musicman forum and post the serial number in the relevant stickied thread, one of the EBMM staff will let you know all the details. Colour, date of manufacture etc etc
15. just FYI i think it's desert gold, not medallion gold best of luck selling it, lovely bass
16. nice one! i want to get a sterling one day, and mine would be exactly the same as yours but with an HH pickup config, truly gorgeous that 'wick is rather pretty too! you've captured my two weaknesses!
17. i hear the stingray is more aggressive sounding than the sterling. Also the sterling has a smaller body, thinner neck etc, my kind of ergonomics. I'm afraid i can't contribute much more than that though!
18. is this guitar base nottingham? never bought from their website but been into their shop in west bridgford and their newer shop in the centre of nottingham and they're a sound bunch of blokes. Wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from them.
19. not arrogant at all, most fenders come with crap bridges etc and don't get a lot of care taken on the factory setup and i'm not interested in buying, just wondering what the cost was in a sort of ball park figure if i decide to do something similar myself. I have a bit of a project going on that i should probably finish soon if i pull my finger out. If i get that done then i may look at something else like a jazz or precision or something.
20.
a point worth making.....people do say that SUB's are great value compared to stingrays, however in the current market, SUB's can sell for anything up to £450, whereas stingrays are selling as little as £550. I dont agree that a real stingray is worth twice that of a sub, but i do think its worth £100-200 more. IMO, of course
Really? i sold mine for £360 and i just saw one sell on ebay for around £295... you just have to pay what's sensible. Personally i wouldn't go much over £350ish
21. might i ask about cost? i wouldn't mind trying my luck with a jazz bass again...
22. thanks for the response btw ^ still mulling it over. I'm in no position to buy until a week tomorrow anyway.
