1. Looks much nicer, I never liked that extended top horn
2.
The Slade Rooms at Wolverhampton !! tell me more
It's the new Little Civic. Nice 200 capacity venue with a very big bar.
3. Cool, let me know, delivery wouldn't be a problem
4. Pretty much the same as me, mid-90s I was listenng to Nevermind, Down On The Up Side, BSSM, One Hot Minute, RATM, etc, and the bass seemed to be the driving force for most of the songs, then once I started playing my taste shifted towards US punk and I've been playing that style ever since!
5. woah... this needs moving to the porn section!!! I can't afford it, not long bought it's predesesor, but I wouldn't mind a look, where abouts is the Shrewsbry Music Bros? Bought many a bass from the Telford branch, but never been to the Shrewsbury one.
6. Me at my last gig at The Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton

9.
i'm sure you know which studio im on about...
Of course. Would be the perfect venue in one of the larger rooms.
10. Count me in
11. I've not played anything as light as my Ibanez SR1000, I never take my Jazz to 2hr practices anymore, just the occasional short gig, the difference is huge.
12. Thin Lizzy - Dancing In The Moonlight ? The opening few bars are melodic enough to show what you can do, then a nice rhythm in the verses. And it's pretty easy to play!
13. Wish I could, but need the cash I'm afraid.
14. Hi Tom - the one in the picture isn't, but the one I'm selling was yours, yes! I've loved playing it since I bought it from you, and if it wasn't for the Ibanez the only thing I'd have sold it for would have been a Spector Euro, i'm a sucker for slim necks and curved bodies!
15. A few years ago, I bought a Spector Legend and loved it, but it didn't suit my band at the time, so I sold it. Always regretted it, so ended up buying another one last year, gigged it a few times, and still love it, but I recently bought the Ibanez SR Prestige and unfortunately I'm only allowed two basses (which is still one more than I ever play at one time apparently!) and I'll never sell the Jazz so this has to go. £180 including Fender Deluxe gig bag. Collection from West Midlands preferred. I get about a bit with work, but don't know where or when I'll next be on my travels. I played it on the recordings here: http://www.myspace.com/liberationworksuk, using mostly just the neck pickup and hardly any EQ (don't know how much was done on the desk). • Original Spector NS curved body style • Neck: 3pc Maple, Bolt-On • Body: Basswood back, Figured Maple Top, Clear gloss finish • Fingerboard: 24 Fret, Rosewood, dot markers • Scale Length: 34" • Black Hardware including Spector Die Cast Locking Bridge • Pickups: • SSD passive dual coil humbuckers. Designed for us by EMG, these have a little more midrange than EMG-HZ passive humbuckers. • Active Tone Controls: Spector TonePump Jr.™, boost only, bass and treble • Two volume controls • Finishes: Black Cherry, Holoflash Black, Natural, Slate Grey • Width at nut 1.56", String Spacing at bridge .75", Fingerboard radius 16" • Allen Wrench Sizes: Bridge 2mm, Truss Rod 4mm Edit: Pics added. Tried to show all minor marks, not many and they don't show up on camera really. The only major one is the scratch on the underside of the neck, but I never noticed it while playing.
16. My band's called Liberation Works, we're a 'Country, Blues, Rock n Roll' band apparently. We just had our EP launch on Friday night which went really well, nice big crowd, got them all dancing and even got an encore, great gig! www.myspace.com/liberationworksuk
17.
the sr series is now on my to try list.
Buying the SR1000 Prestige in my avatar recently has been an eye opener for me. Although my first ever bass was an old SR300, I didn't really know what I was looking for, and spent the next 10yrs going through various Fenders, Warwicks, etc trying to find the right bass for me. I was looking for a decent Spector, buy the Ibanez ticked all the boxes I wanted, plus more. Looks great, sounds great, feels great, and didn't cost the earth!
18. Wanted one of these as a backup to my Jazz ever since BGM reviewed them when the new shape was released, it's a lot of bass for £200! Have no need for it since I bought the Prestige, but have a bump!
19.
Black Country Museum, Walsall??
Well, Dudley, but yes! Which is why it was so early, we had to get the shoot finished before it opened to the public.
20. We had some done recently, turned out quite well considering it was 9am on a Sunday morning after a heavy Saturday night!

4x10 Cabs

But do you fit in your Fiat Punto with it!?
22. Strange that it doesn't say Ibanez anywhere visible on the amp or cab! Noticed the same thing with a few of their basses.

Info

Is that the American Deluxe P? There's a thread somewhere with the new ones, that don't have the fat humbucker at the bridge, but I always liked the look of these.
24. I like the idea, and for jamming with random people would be quite good, but for long-distance practising with your band could get pretty expensive!!
